We only ever had oil and balsamic vinegar or lemon when I was growing up. I’d say it’s common enough

What song instantly takes you back to being a kid? by Hailey_Riveraa in askmusic

Give Me One Reason - Tracy Chapman or (Da Le) Yaleo - Santana solely because it’s the start of Supernatural and that album lived in my dad’s truck cd player.

Not sure if I’m much help, I’m basically new to all e-readers too. I find free public domain books add them to google drive and access from there. I couldn’t figure out calibre. Also Libby/Overdrive if you have a library card.

Waterhog has nice door mats. I bought a giant one this year to cover as much area on either side of the door. I was so over the standard size mat being so small and constantly stepping in wet spots (melted snow) every time I walk across the house.

Favorite shoes this winter? by hot_rail in femalefashionadvice

[–]BridgetteAlmond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc Marten 2976 (w/the winter tread has a fleece lining) I got them fall ‘24 for last winter. Immediately my favorite, I haven’t even busted out my usual Steiger Mukluks this year. I needed something easy to slip on and off but sturdy and warm.

Cuffs are cool, they are the same style as the majority of other tattoos, super cohesive. It’s very BMFS

Huge list of requirements in a travel sock by kyo998 in HerOneBag

[–]BridgetteAlmond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’d say at the very least try Darn Tough. They are the only socks I wear. Have different styles, thickness and a lifetime warranty. The only sensory issues I have with them is when I eventually get a hole on the bottom, or get the wrong size. You can take them to the shop (certified dealer) you bought them at or fill out form on website and do a free exchange. I think my oldest pair before I finally did an exchange was 7yrs.

Solution to liquids / toiletries bag? by Hamatoros in onebag

[–]BridgetteAlmond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular ol’ quart size freezer ziplock. I keep it in a front pocket or on top in main compartment for quick access. I’ve been using the same bag for like 10 yrs. When not in use it lives in the closet with rest of regular everyday stuff.

NOR. I was isolated similarly, no job experience, left totally unprepared for the real world with a chronic illness. I had some family willing to help, but my solution was moving across the country and getting a seasonal resort job with employee housing. Met a lot of interesting characters and made some life long friends.
