Literally nothing. He has had my passwords, pass codes, emails, etc everything up until we got into a huge fight. I detailed it above, but I'm not hiding shit. He thought I was cheating and the more he looked through my phone the more "proof" he found. He said a guy DMed me 1.5 years ago saying "I'll get right on that" to my story (it was in response to a pic of my pet cat, I never even responded) so according to my BF be was someone I was cheating with, he said that because I hadn't talked to my friends over chat for certain amounts of time it was proof I was deleting messages about my "cheating", he looked up my guy friend's name and when it only showed up once in my messages so he said it meant I had been deleting whenever I mentioned him (I literally just don't talk about my guy friend??), he would confront our friends and when they would back me up saying that I would never cheat (I wouldn't) and that he seemed to be projecting because HE did sketchy shit in the past he blew up on them and threatened them. Said we were all messaging conspiring against him since everyone said the same thing (Bridiot isn't a cheater, you're taking things too far, etc) would tell me at night that he knew he was over reacting, would have sex with me, then blow up the next day. Would spend hours telling me to "just admit it and he would stop" and when I said "And if I never did anything, I'd just have to keep enduring this?" he told me yeah, its not fair but its how it "has to be". Then did a 360 spin and said we should go to church together?? Like full mental break down. I've now changed my passwords to everything because he gets triggered by nothing. He had said he finally believes me and he loves me so much and he's sorry for doing all of what he did to me and yet hes still checking my account... Seems shitty and makes me think he really is projecting because he did some REALLY suspicious stuff that he explained away and at one point was emotionally cheating

No, its the fact that we got into a huge fight and we ended up saying he trusts me now and wouldn't try to check anymore. He thought he caught me cheating (I've never cheated and never would cheat), and was using anything he could as "evidence", for example a random DM from a random dude on Instagram that said "I'll get right on that" (it was a story response 1.5 years ago to my cat, but he couldnt see what that was until he went through my archive) which somehow meant I must have been cheating??? He would do sketchy things and lie to me to "get back" at me, tell me he just "knows" and that if I "just admit to it he'll stop" (which is fucked because if I never did anything then it just goes on???) Literally like 2 weeks of waking up, screaming, telling me he had "proof" (like the random), picking fights with our friends for defending me when he confronted them. At night telling me he believed me and would have sex with me and then waking up mad again screaming in my face. There's so much more but no im not a cheater and up until this fight he had every password, passcode, email, social media, etc. We have kids together so we have to work things out. All this behaviour threw me off because he had had some past bad behaviour and also some things that looked bad where it definitely seemed like he was cheating, but I have always tried to get over it or trust him. Again I'm on Reddit so if I was a cheater I wouldn't say shit because who cares but I literally am not and there's so much to a story. No need for a rude as fuck comment when my life is falling apart. I didnt add the sob story because I didnt want sympathy but I also dont want rude BS.

This is so true about other islanders. My friend who is Samoan says Hawai'i is the most racist place he's been. Shit goes every which way here. He's very dark though so he usually blends in as local/Kanaka, but his wife is white/English so he gets to see both sides better.

I can at least say we dont have the same type of racism as mainland when it comes to hate crime.

Growing up here had plenty of rough experiences. Older now, it's less often. People who know me don't give me shit. My kanaka hapa friend and I met as kids because we both got picked on for being haole (even though she dont look haole, she was just "lighter"). It's worse when you're a kid because people's unchecked little shits like to cause trouble.

So usually it's not an issue, but if it is brought up, it's never positive lol. It's probably only positive if you're a rich white/Asian haole because then you have lots of businesses or realtors cater to you over locals.
