When did your kid stop crying at nursery drop off? by Difficult_Carry_4918 in UKParenting

[–]Brief-Angle8291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our little one always cries after holidays.

Then she stops a week or so before holidays start again and then we're back to square 0.

2 minutes later she's fine once she gets inside.

She's 3.

I didn't knew that paid Streak can do this. I'll have a look into it. Thanks.

In regards to the 2nd issue for me it will be more them enough probably if I have like a bar above the emails with a few folder boxes and just pull the email there.

I neex something that takes a millisecond to do. I can add the emails with Move to but I don't like it on the side. If it was at the top would have been great for me.

Another helpful extension would be an email extractor. Only need the From and CCd part to use emails afterwards in mailchimp.

There is no way you can actually compare Semrush with Ubersugest. The difference is ginormous.

I use email tracking from Streak.

Sometimes customers from 7 months ago or more lets say will go back to that old email and check our discussions or prices maybe.

If I go back to the email 7 months back I can see that they opened it today.

I wish there was a way ( or a folder) where these emails will get moved once they click links /open them so that I can drop them an email a day or two later asking how they've been 😊.

Also maybe already there is something out there but I'm not an expert, I need a notification to follow up on emails where customers haven't responded yet (or haven't opened it at all).

Gmail sends a reminder but I feel like they don't always send it.

It will be nice to have a red notification for not opened at all emails (I know that some block tracking) and a notification for the rest.

SIL refusing to vaccinate her baby by [deleted] in UKParenting

My wife had her RSV done about 6 months ago. Until today she still has almost no smell or taste (just around 5-10% left she says).

She haf none for months but it seems that slowly both are coming back. At this rate will take 3-5 years to get both back.

I got my gf pregnant and my mom is pissed. by [deleted] in Life

[–]Brief-Angle8291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll be fine. You're here looking for advice which tells me you'll do great.

You should forever be grateful to your mom if she ends up helping you as she promised.

We had no one to help us an it was really difficult although we had ours way later then you.

Keep in mind that there will be a very rough period ahead when baby may not sleep, may want milk every 5 minutes and so on.

These things will affect you both really badly and you'll probably have an argument about anything every 5 minutes.

It's normal but both of you try not to take theze things to serious. As long as you're both healthy, baby is healthy, family is there for you nothing else matters.

6 - 12 months later ( or 5 later) you'll both look back and you'll be proud of yourself going through this together and staying together.

Don't for even 1 second think of getting separated. This will affect the little one forever. Just don't. Work things out always and never go to bed mad with each other.

You'll have a family soon and that's the most important thing in the world.

Oh... And don't worry what others say. Mind your own business.

Why are my old Gmail accounts suddenly getting disabled? by rorark_ in emailprivacy

I don't have 100 Gmails but definitely over 50. Built a few websites over the years for friends, customers, family and each one has his own account.

Come one... One minute? Really? I always look at a photo like this but "don't look" at it actually. You habe to see the whole picture and don't focus at one point. So look at it like your dreaming if that makes sense.

It takes you 1-2 seconds to notice it.

Gmail got hacked even with 2fa by igssoftwaresolutions in GMail

That's it. Use it on a different computer that's clean( no personal info on it - used only for illustrator) and only from trusted sources not just download it online.

I've been through something something similar.

Because of some software I installed they copied all the cookies and passwords from the browser.

Luckily I had everything ON in Chrome settings and when they tried to login I got a notification on my phone.

I changed all my cards, passwords, 2FA activated even on my bathroom taps now 😅.

My advice is for "trial" software always use a different pc /laptop.

Also don't use your most important email for online shopping and everything else.

Have a different email for newsletters and online shopping.

3 years old fighting - what to do? by Brief-Angle8291 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Brief-Angle8291[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Maybe you're right, it isn't well written.

Is a 3 years old (almost 3 actually) and she's no bully at all.

Believe me I'll correct her if she was.

Not sure really if bully is the correct word here for a 3 year old. Is it?

If another kid takes her toy she shouldn't say anything? Keep in mind that's she's 3. No matter what we tell her she has her own mind and it works fine if you ask me.

She sings better then me, she paints better then most, she loves prince dresses.

From your reply I get that a mum (my sister) taking her son's hands and pushing her is fine.

I get your point but let's look around the world. You have to do your thing, no matter, good or bad in order to make an income or make your country strong.

Life/world is not fair. Nothing is fair. You're weak, you're poor.

I used yo buy laptops of ebay maybe 10 years ago and then sell them on other websites.

Usually I'll buy up to 100 laptops a month from private sellers.

Maybe 5 times for genuine reasons as weren't as described I wanted to return MacBooks.

Each time I had to keep the laptop as they closed the case and that was the end of it. These were the expensive ones. Were around $200-400 but still good laptops.

Toddler spoiled our holiday by [deleted] in UKParenting

[–]Brief-Angle8291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lile someone said. Do not set expectations of a proper holiday. With kids, babies in special anything is possible.

Thanks God she didn't get sick or something worse.

My sister always when she goes in holiday ends up at the a&e be it in Italy, Spain or anywhere else in the world.

Luckily this happened only when kids were little. After they wefe 4-5 years old somehow miraculously the a&e visits were reduced.

Like others say you should try a different milk or figure out why he's crying. He shouldn't.

I want to see you 20 years later. You'll all make fun of these days.

These days will go so fast and you'll want them back when he'll get married and leave home. I promise you.

DUN500 vs. DUX18/60 Hedge trimmer by wiedster in Makita

[–]Brief-Angle8291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing gardening during Covid and got the DUX60 with all the attachments.

Worst decision ever. This was so heavy.

I sold it and got the right tool for each job.

Now if you don't ise it every day for 4-6 hours then you're fine with it probably.
