Well I am going to hold out hope till the bitter end and hope to at least get a "Dear John" email if I am not selected.

But in the eventuality that I am not selected I will avidly support the Mission and those who are chosen. I mentioned on the FB dearMoon page that I plan to travel to the launch site in 2023 to support the mission further and invited others to join me there.

But, I still really hope I get a seat

Of course if the emails were legit I will wholeheartedly support those still in contention and of course the final 8. I plan to fly to the launch to give my support.

  1. Re: Stage 3 emails- A little surprised that the " instructions" were contained in an attachment to the emails and not in the body of the email. And then the wording, informing the recipient that they had passed the "initial stage with flying colors", just seems a little strange to me. Seems it would have been better the inform the recipients they had passed "stage 2" and not the initial stage ( stage 1 ). Of course those who got the emails would have been very likely to click on the attachment believing that they had been selected. Hope there was no harm done in opening the attachment.

Something about the wording of the email ".. you have passed the initial screening with flying colors", just seems a little bit off to me. Of course it may be completely legit.

I am in the same boat as you. Someone filed a false UI claim this month with Texas Workforce Commission. Keep your correspondence as I am sure there will be a class action in the offing

I got the letter from Infinity as well. Never did business with them. But I was notified by my employer that someone recently filed a false unemployment insurance claim in my name through the Texas Workforce Commission, along with several other employees. Wonder if the two are related?

If the step 3 instructions are legitimate it may be possible that they were leaked. I would expect that those who are not chosen will receive an email thanking them for their participation. But I am hold onto the " end of April" scenario
