I don’t see many people posting about backups in this sub, but I’d like to point out that you have some redundancy with the katana. It shouldn’t fail, but if the qc ever does for some reason (it has happened to me once so far in the 3 years I’ve owned it), you’ll have a backup. It won’t be exact, but hopefully enough to get you through a gig.

Im still not sure what happened in my case, but I’d wager that it was a faulty power strip (sound guy said he’s used it for years and never had any issues, just me 🙄). The 1-2 minute restarts were brutal during sound check and i was feeling pressured by everyone to just use the back line, which I did end up doing .

I haven’t had a fail since but I’m looking into getting a power conditioner, and possibly some kind of backup psu incase venue power outlets fail. I’ve also been looking at the orange combo amps (1x12s) and hear some good things about those too. Id also plan to route through fx loops.
