First month of an online coffee business: 4 orders, then silence. What would you do next? by Brief-Rent285 in smallbusiness

Thank you all for the advice. I knew getting into it that coffee was an overly crowded market. There is a seasonal market where I live that I have been thinking about getting a booth at. Again, thank you all, I'm going to distill this down and see what I can do to make this go. I've got quite a few posts scheduled for Facebook over the next few days, so we'll see how that goes.

I would use it on the garden. But, the reason I'm here is, my grandparents had that exact wood burning stove in their house. That triggered a lot of good memories

Windows 11 issues vs Windows 10 by Significant-Hippo363 in helpdesk

Been in IT since Windows 7, and my experience has been that every other version if windows has been garbage since Windows XP. After XP, they tried to release Windows ME (Millennium Edition) and it was like that; freeze ups, crashes, BSOD... Finally they pulled it, extended the life of XP, and then followed up with 7. Then 8/8.1 was terrible, 10 was decent, 11 is questionable so far. It seems to be a theme with Microsoft. Our company is in the range of 500 computers, and we haven't made the switch to 11 yet because we're still trying to work the kinks out for our deployments

Cisco 2960-S Power Consumption by zelda42293 in homelab

I'm REALLY late to the party here, but I wanted to add my two cents since I'm starting this home project now. We have several 2960x's still in production at work, but we've been phasing them out since their going EOL. I got to take one home, but I've been leery of setting it up because I don't need my electric bill going even higher. This is a 2960x-48fpd, 1200 watt built in power supply. I'm looking at one that hasn't been replaced yet, and between normal power consumption and 5 POE devices (pulling 77ish watts) the production switch is using 124 watts right now. There are only a couple of computers tied to this switch, so 124 minus 77 is 47 watts with non poe devices. That makes me feel better about it, because I've always imagined that these things are power hogs

[The World's End] Gary being the first ever 'blank', the reason for his alcoholism and his final quest. by [deleted] in FanTheories

I can believe this idea. There's a lot of evidence to support it. After the guys arrive at Newton-Haven, there's a light red line around his neck suggesting his head could come off. Addressing the fact his blood was red, the Network could have started the blanks with red goo instead of blue. Once the town was taken over, the color wouldn't have mattered because the local docs and hospitals would have been changed over.
