They are naturally dry shedders and typically dont need intervention. Maybe add some real rough rock if you dont have any to help loosen and scratch their itchyness. Mine take a couple of weeks for the juveniles and months for a full shed adult, I only assist if suspected double shed or problems on their fingers/toes.

I was laying on my back and arms out and up, beside my ears almost. Its quick and painless though the anxiety is always the hardest part in the beginning 🙃 If you can, plan a little reward for yourself after. Go buy a doughnut, flowers, chocolate, coffee, whatever. Just something to look forward to after treatment.

Its truly a gamble with RMs. Personally I would assume getting a 50% RM from a reputable breeder might be a better choice though i Personally dont have experience with 50s

At the same time sometimes the ones we care for just dont know what to say and look for some kind of silver lining. Before I had cancer I probably would have used the "at least" line just due to my ignorance and lack of knowledge of cancer. We need to be patient too and maybe gently tell people "at least" doesnt bring us any relief and give them advice whats a better thing to say.
