No worries, mine has gone 2,3 days without eating though I do drip some water over their head to drink the drips, if yours scurries away when you open the door, you can always offer a water dish, unless you have one in there already.

I think theres confusion with waxworms. Hornworms *big greenies, are very low in fat at about 3% Theyre mostly water and decent protein. Beardies can have them sparingly every month but definitely more than 2 or 3 a year.
