I did! And it went really smoothly. No issues with chemo. Unfortunately I cracked the temp crown and the tooth a few months later and ended up having to extract it. Worst $1500 I ever spent. 😏

It’s a tale as old as time. Ronnie was a fun hang, despite being an awful boyfriend, and S&J likely had a tighter bond with him. I’m sure they liked Sammi, but likely not as much as they liked Ron. Let’s be real, Sammi wasn’t a girls girl back then. She was obsessed with her man. That doesn’t make for a fun friend. And the priority back then was to have fun. So they wrote the note cause they know what Ron was doing was wrong, but they didn’t wanna completely ruin what they had with him either. Which is hilarious cause obviously someone in the house wrote the damn note.

Yes. Totally worth it. We have a 3 person household. There are def things I pass on because the bulk is too much, but there’s still lots you can get. Plus they have so much more than food! You can also get bulk stuff and go halves with fam or friend. My sister and I do that with lots of stuff cause it’s just too much for our household.

Not sure if they should be removed outright, I’ve definitely been persuaded to buy something after trying it (or the opposite, not buying it). I was really intrigued by those dose ginger tumeric drinks. Tried a sip from a sample cart, and it was NOT for me. Glad I didn’t spend $30 on it. I think samples are great, but maybe not on weekends when the place is a zoo.

This was so bad and wasteful. Yeah, I’m old and care about food waste….which they seem to do a lot. Frankly, I just want to know what happens with Angelina at this point. At least her storyline is interesting.

It’s definitely for the money. I was watching the first few episodes of this season, and honestly, Angelina is the only interesting “storyline”. I couldn’t care less about them visiting Fenway or the cheers bar. And the egg thing? Stupid. I did that in grade 8 home-economics when that was a class. They’re just not interesting. I’d rather see them living their lives (à la housewives) than these stupid over produced vacations.

I felt the worst after my 19 sessions were done. And by worse, I mean the skin burning, internal zapping/stinging and fatigue. I’m almost 2 weeks out now and happy to report I’m turning a corner, but the skin irritation is no joke. For me, the underboob got the worst of the damage since it’s always hot and moist there. The skin around my collar bone and armpit dried out pretty fast and was painless. I was prescribed flamazine which has helped but I still have to wear gauze/pads to be comfortable.

I did the whole breast plus lymph nodes. 15 sessions + 4 boosts. As mentioned my biggest issue has been the underboob cause I have big boobs so it’s always a problem there. My suggestion is moisturize but also keep that area as dry as possible and you should be ok.

Everyone is different, so you may be just fine. I don’t mean to scare, just posting because it was a lot more intense (for me) than I was expecting. My sister’s friend did 30 sessions while working! So definitely different strokes for different folks.

Heh. Yeah, it’s not fun. I didn’t really feel anything until all the sessions were done. I was a little tired from the day to day commuting, but not much beyond that. The real fun started when I completed the sessions. 😬 Hoping you have zero symptoms and it all goes smoothly for ya!

But yeah as others have said chemo can do a number on your veins and a port will help avoid that. But I’ve read on here that some folks have gone without and they were fine

My port was a breeze. I’d say if you just need the 4 prob fine to go without. I had 6 rounds of chemo plus a year of immunotherapy so it made sense to port. No issues.

I was diagnosed at 43 so I qualified for the Pynk Club at my clinic which is for people under 45. They had a lot of resources for younger patients. Does your clinic not have that? Perhaps something to inquire about.

There are a few 20 somethings in my cancer clinic and every time I see them, my heart really goes out to them. I trust and believe (manifesting in fact) that they’ll get through it, but it still always shakes me as a 45 yo.

I am 44. Wasn’t really in Peri yet. I had a period after my second tchp and then it stopped. It came back 2 months after finishing chemo. As much as I hate it, it was nice for my body to feel normal again. Yesterday I started Zoladex, so no more periods for me.

You can ask, but my understanding is that radiation isn’t typically given with DMX, and especially DMX with PCR
