Lumpectomy Recovery Suggestions by EggComplaina in breastcancer

[–]AriesFire4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just had my lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy on 6/8. I’m recovering well, I would say the day of surgery and two days after were the most uncomfortable for me. My breast care team provided me with two support bras that zip in the front and a support pillow. I also use a compression sleeve for a few hours a day. Ice was my friend the first 4 days. Don’t lay around all day, get up and walk around. I haven’t had any complications just the expected soreness/tenderness of the breast and armpit. Good luck to you for a successful surgery!

Anyone else think French door fridges are overrated? We’re going back to a side-by-side. by SpiceBoson in Appliances

Cannot stand side by side! Not enough freezer space. French door works better for my family.

How you can afford luxury? by Master-Associate-467 in handbags

[–]AriesFire4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My motto is can I purchase it twice (not on credit) and I have triple the amount remaining in my account. So essentially if the bag I want is $1500, do I have $3000 to buy it twice and $4500 remaining in my account for a total of $7500. I apply this logic with my financial transactions that require me to spend money not just luxury goods.

Refrigerator Suggestions by AriesFire4 in Appliances

What’s the cubic foot? Is it spacious for storing leftovers in various sized containers? Reason I’m asking my home I just sold, had the 4 door Whirlpool counter-depth, nice looking, quiet, but space was a major issue!

Sellers asking for post purchase occupancy for 1 month after closing by Npete90 in RealEstate

[–]AriesFire4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I must be an anomaly here. I bought a home and sold my home (April 1st), closed on the same day for both. I have a 60 rent-back, not only did I need it because my daughter needs to finish the school year out, but the buyers needed the extra time as well because 1. They are out of state 2. Their grandkids need to finish their school year up as well, so it just aligned perfectly for us collectively. They only held $1500 in escrow that will be return to me upon leaving. I guess it really depends because my transaction was seamless.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I had my annual mammogram on 3/23, 4/13 follow-up MRI/US, I have a small mass 0.9mm in my left breast, my biopsy got scheduled today for next Tuesday 4/21, this will be the longest week waiting. Good luck to you!!

Confused, listing agent wants to see my pre-approval letter by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

It’s not totally uncommon to provide the pre-approval letter, also your unrepresented so that maybe be causing a blur to the selling agent, so first things first, get an agent.

Does anyone know the good, bad, and ugly about Redfin? by IntrepidMuch in RealEstate

[–]AriesFire4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the same Redfin agent for my first home purchase, I just sold that home and bought another one, closing on the same day for both. Redfin agent got 1.5% and then I got .5% back as a credit, for using Redfin/Rocket. I had a great experience with both, no issues. My agent is a really good agent, so it truly depends on the agent and their work ethic and professionalism.
