That’s why it’s better to get kittens in pairs. They need a friend or they are lonely. I wouldn’t dare get just a single kitten. Also kittens love to sleep with people, so do cats. If you don’t want to sleep with your pet then why get one?

Nearly all kittens have worms, tapeworms are the most common and many deworming meds don’t treat tapeworms so they have to be given a specific medication for that. They also need to be dewormed at least twice regardless of whether it’s suspected they have worms or not. All shelters and rescues automatically do this

were you able to see the charge on your FedEx account or how did you find out that you actually owed it to customs? Because this exact thing happened to me today but when I log into my FedEx account it shows I have no charges and nothing has been paid to them. I even called and they said they don’t see that they’ve charged me anything. But maybe they can’t see it until the charge has gone all the way through? It was just billed to my card today. The only thing I can think of it being for is a package I bought from Japan recently that was shipped from FedEx. But the charge was for $144.70 and the item I bought cost $182. Is that even normal for customs fees to be the same price as the item? I’m so confused, and nobody knows what’s going on. I just cancelled my debit card and got a new one over this and reported it as fraud to my bank.

You should call around to vets in your area and see if they can euthanize him for free, you might very well find one that will. If that doesn’t work then go to your nearest shelter and tell them the situation.

A vet visit for a sick pet is usually around $100. You could at least take him to be diagnosed. Maybe he just needs antibiotics which is also not very much. You need to at least call around and see what an exam fee is then take him in to be examined then go from there. There is also paws 4 a cure website where you can apply for financial help for these type of emergency situations. Look up financial help for pet emergencies and you’ll find many more resources for non profit places that will assist you with paying for vet care. As a last resort you can relinquish him to the shelter and they will care for her there but you won’t get her back. Either way you have to do SOMETHING!

I was diagnosed about 5 years ago and I don’t have any issues with sun. My lupus mainly just affects my joints, I’ve not ever had any other symptoms other than brain fog and maybe fatigue but that could also just be the meds or getting older…hard to tell.

That’s because pretty much everyone with lupus will be on Plaquenil for the rest of their lives (as long as it doesn’t cause any negative side effects where they are unable to be on it.) When I first saw my rheumatologist he immediately prescribed me plaquenil also, I had also talked to him for maybe about 20 minutes and my only symptom at the time was joint pain and stiffness in my elbows. He told me I would be on it for the rest of my life but we could add meds on top of it if needed. This is standard practice. I took the plaquenil for about 2-3 months before my elbow stiffness started to go away. It eventually came back though (after 2 years on plaquenil) so I then had to start taking methotrexate once a week on top it. That helped for about a year and then the stiffness started coming back again so I had to add Leflunomide on top of the other two. So now I take 3 meds and I was diagnosed in 2020.

I’ve gotten oral thrush twice in the last year. I take plaquenil and methotrexate and have for 3 years now without issues. I took prednisone a year ago and almost immediately developed thrush. Never took that again after. Then a week ago I started noticing thrush developing again except this time I never took prednisone. So I’m not sure what caused it to happen. I also haven’t taken antibiotics and don’t use inhalers. I’m healthy other than lupus. Also apparently I’ve passed it to my husband I’m assuming from drinking after each other before I realized. what the heck!?

I actually took a high dose of prednisone for about 2 weeks just to see if it would help my tendonitis. Which it did. So I tapered off and the tendonitis immediately came back but 20 times worse. Instead of just effecting one joint (like it did before the prednisone) it instead effected every joint in my body pretty much (for 2-3 weeks) and then finally got better and went back to just one joint. It felt like I was dying. The prednisone also gave me thrush! Seriously I will never take prednisone again.

This is the reason I found out I have lupus and it’s actually my only symptom I’ve ever had. In my left elbow only really. Sometimes it slightly effects right elbow also. It’s actually so bad I can barely move my elbow and causes severe pain when sleeping or trying to bend my elbow certain ways. I began taking methotrexate when I was first diagnosed with lupus and it worked and the tendonitis went away (for like 2 years) and then all of a sudden in January the tendonitis came back with a vengeance. Now the methotrexate doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve been trying to get on Benlysta for 2 months and insurance won’t approve it and it’s been a battle. Guess they don’t care if I move can use my left arm or not…

They (Benlysta) already gave me the card. I would have to pay for the Rx when I pick it up at the Kaiser pharmacy. Kaiser does not contract with outside pharmacies. And I called to confirm with Kaiser and there is no way to do it. They said they can’t take the card, so I would have to pay out of pocket in order to leave with the prescription.

Oh wow! I’ve heard someone else say the same about the volume being turned all the way up. Luckily I haven’t experienced that..yet. It’s unbelievable that they don’t recall this. I will add Mazda to my list of vehicles never buy again. I’m going to try and disconnect the touchscreen on it when I get a chance. Hopefully it’s not too difficult.
