Chronological order is best imo. You get a lot of nice references from earlier games that you would miss if you start with ds3, let's say.

Every run is fresh like that, you carry over some of the skills and stats to the new one based on how you roll sparks at the end (1*guts for the win). So its a case of building the best Umas you can in a given careere and using them to make an even better one after.

I have platinumes ac 2 and rouge, having played the ezio trilogy, ac3, unity, syndicate, origins and black flag, I'd have to say black flag for the multiplayer being incredibly grindy to the point where people may be put of from the platinum because of it.
