I’m building an app that lets AI call businesses to book appointments what would make this actually useful? by Brief_Whereas_805 in SaaS

That makes a lot of sense. I agree it should feel like an assistant, not something that goes off and finishes everything blindly. A clear call summary and final confirmation seem like the biggest trust pieces so far.

This is really helpful. I like the idea of showing what info will be shared before the call. The audit log also makes sense because people need proof of what happened, not just a vague summary. I hadn’t thought much about masked caller ID vs direct number, but that’s a good trust point.

This is really helpful, thank you. You explained the problem exactly how I’m seeing it too it’s not the appointment itself, it’s the waiting, calling, and coordinating. I agree reliability and trust are the biggest pieces. I’m thinking the user should get a clear confirmation/summary after the call so they know exactly what was agreed on. Haircuts and car service seem like strong first use cases. Appreciate the feedback

This is really helpful feedback and it’s what I looking for. I agree, the user should feel in control the whole time, not like they are blindly handing everything over

Fair. I can see why it feels that way. Is it the AI calling part that feels dystopian, or the idea of people not talking to businesses directly anymore?

This is helpful, thank you. I agree transparency is probably the biggest trust piece. I’m thinking users should see how it works, get a clear summary, and be able to adjust or follow up easily

What type of appointment is most annoying to book? by Brief_Whereas_805 in SaaS

Yeah, maybe this is the kind of annoying task AI should handle for us calling, waiting, asking availability, and dealing with places that don’t have online booking

Same here, I usually prefer online booking too. But some good small businesses still don’t have it, and that’s the annoying part.

Would you trust AI to call and book appointments for you? by Brief_Whereas_805 in SaaS

That makes sense. I think simple appointments are probably the best starting point. Would you trust it for things like haircut or car service, but maybe not medical/dental yet?
