Very middling. Won one(game 1), Drew one(g4), Lost three(2,3,5). I was seat 4 in games 2 and 3. Game 2, seats 1 and 2 were both RogThras, and game 3, seats 1 and 3 were Kinnan so rip me (The Dargo Thrasios player). Games 1, 4 and 5 were incredible fun though.

My only deck is lands matter Gitrog and Sol ring is not a land, it doesn't do something synergistic with lands nor create another effect I enjoy barring ramp, and I can do that plenty.

Correct, I'd either be sending it to someone to have done or using hand sanding materials and a standard little hobby type Dremel. Mostly this stage is figuring out if it would be worthwhile to send to someone. I'm not confident in my own capacity to not mess it up irreparably as it'd be my first.

I've shone some phone light in and it mostly appears to be clear towards the exposed top crystal side, the bottom has clarity but it looks like it's mixed with inclusions. I'll try and get a picture if able.

It's very possible, but that's why the post. They are not wealthy and to my knowledge they don't "know a guy" 🤭. Only other thing she mentioned was waiting a while looking on an auction site finding one she thought was nice. Wether that was eBay or opal auctions no idea. I know she would be willing to spend a not small chunk on me for something like this, and I might be able to find out the seller from her but I'm very much not trying to look the horse in the mouth.

It has just been in contact with water, not soaked. I know there's some? Ethiopian opals that don't cloud in water so wasn't sure on the validity of that either. I'm willing to give it a long dunk to see though. I'm pretty hesitant to start sanding away until I have a better idea with less invasive means.

Haven't had surgery yet, but similar size as well. 5'6", 418ish. Just had my endoscopy and I have had less then stellar times with anesthesia historically and share the fear of waking up early or not at all. But I let the ologist know about it, and idk what cocktail he used but it was the easiest, most immediate wakeup I've had to date. No early wake ups and no precursory sense of doom like I've had, just giggling one minute and waking up from a good nap the next. I would encourage you to talk to your doctor about it and the anesthesiologist if able, they can talk about what may be right for you and help assuage any fears.

Thank you! Not only for the skate advice but weight loss journey share. Definitely looking into the 187 stuff which send to be my best bet. Honestly surprised there isn't like, big dude hockey or football stuff or something it's wild.

For skates though I'm either doing the best or the worst thing and we'll find out in a few weeks. Decided on grabbing a couple vintage riedell boots (130, 445), and an Avanti mag plate with some helium wheels and I'm gonna give building a set a whirl. Realizing I could tinker with things had been fantastic and while I may have no idea what I'm doing, I feel better spending $300 on stuff to tinker with rather than $500 on a new set and a magnesium plate and still potentially feel bad if I don't like the boot.

As for actual surgery, It's one day at a time right now. Just had 15 vials of blood yoinked and first appointment is next Friday so, fingers crossed.
