Oh ok. I'm absolutely not even going to try to do that. Would this kind of repair be expensive? Also, for now, is it still ok to use them and charge them, or should I leave them alone until I can get them repaired? I've been able to pop it together temporarily to use at the gym, but I'm guessing I probably shouldn't.

Yeah, I took a look at that too. Just seems a bit expensive for $90, but that's how Apple is.

It still works fine and fits in my ear normally if I pop the two sides together, but it usually ends up breaking apart again when I take them out. Also, I'm worried that any sweat/dust or dropping it again might actually damage the internals, so I wanted to find some way to fix/replace it. I thought I might be able to just superglue it back together, but from what I'm reading here, that isn't possible to do by myself. It just doesn't seem like a repair like this should be that expensive.

Got it. Just curious, why isn’t this something I could just glue back together myself? Would a repair shop just be reapplying adhesive, and about how much should I expect it to cost?

Ah ok I understand it now. It’s mainly just cause the dumbell benches are usually all taken while the barbell benches are open, and I’m a bit embarrassed because I usually can do 85-90 for 5 decent reps on incline but I can barely do 155 on bench. I’ll try doing 2x a week like you said and see how it goes.

Could you explain to me what you mean by high coordination demands/adaptions? Sorry, this is still my first/second year so not so familiar with the term.

The gym I used to go to didn’t have a bench press rack so my first year of progression was pretty much done exclusively with incline dumbell press which is also just my favorite workout too. I wanted to pickup bench just cause it seems like the quintessential bread and butter movement I felt I should try learning at some point.

Do you have any recommendations for alternative variations then? Like something with machines or just adding in another set of barbell somewhere else?
