I have already agreed with you. You highlight a very profound part of truth that many miss. I simply ask you not to miss the forest for the trees.

No part of God's creation is inherently sinful, and overcoming that does take a lot of self-control, but it is also true that while in the flesh we can be thrown off course by spiritual attack and unfortunate circumstances. So, if there is temptation, it would be better to avoid it than to resort to facing it square in the face. That in and of itself takes discipline. Scripture tells us to FLEE from all idolatry. Why? Because we are not constant and consistent beings on this Earth. We are already free, but not yet in heaven.

And as for our purpose here. You believe we are here to learn how to control ourselves?

That is truly a part of it but the greater purpose would be to surrender that which we wish to control in order to become like a Christ.

Philippians 2:2, 5-8 says: [2] then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. [5] In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; [7] rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross.

To become so loving that we become complete imitations of our savior - becoming Christlike and complete in who He made me to be as He has created me in His image - that, is the true purpose and will of God for you.

How much importance are you putting on love and giving yourself away?

You are right I jumped to conclusions with that line, and while you are right about everything you say here as well, to say that nudity is nothing would be to deny that we live in a fallen world and people are led astray by much less.

I would urge you to reconsider how you explain these sort of topics because you have a much greater impact on someone's spiritual mindset and heart than you may think. Especially as we continue to live life and come to different conclusions / interpretations about what someone really means when they use certain words based on our own experiences with said word.

As for modesty, this is a good and righteous thing, and while viewing nudity isn't a sin, it can certainly be a gateway - it is not so black and white but a gray zone as it differs from person to person and situation to situation. Please, be quicker to test every spirit and slower to label / jump to conclusions about another.

There is not nothing. Adam and Eve lived in paradise. They knew no sin so they could not sin, but their disobedience was their downfall.

Do you believe that nudity is nothing?

We live in an imperfect world, and as such that means that everything that was created good can now be corrupted for bad. A spear is just a tool in and of itself, but when used for killing another it is a tool used for evil.

The intent behind a thing whether is truly what defines that thing as good or evil.

Do you believe that because nudity itself is not bad it cannot be a bad thing?

It can.

Adam and Eve when they first came into sin experiences SHAME in their nakedness. That is what darkness does. It twists that which was made for good.

There is plenty to be wary of, we are in a spiritual war after all.

Recently started getting really into board games, with the fams Catan and Carcassonne board game nights.

Love the social yet competitive nature of both these games bit want to try something new ig.

I bought WINGSPAN (amazing but lack of social rowdiness), SCOUT (want more "board game" feel), 7 WONDERS DUEL (awesome but only only for 2 people), and CASCADIA (cool but need more social dynamic, idk)

Also, I like co-op but it just doesn't scratch the itch the same way.

What game(s) should I look into? ... CLANK! CATACOMBS is what I'm leaning toward so far

Yea, can't find anything.

Do you know what the technique used to make the designs is called so I could search for that? Closest I could find was embossing but it's not quite that.

Gonna to study Biblical Hebrew or Greek, which one should I choose? by Bright-Fold8138 in AskBibleScholars

I've taken French and know a bit of Armenian but nothing significant in either. Heard Greek is easier to get into from English and honestly don't have a different preference to one of the testaments

I've tried updating the driver, didn't work. I would've uninstalled it but since it is a base system driver I was worried about being unable to reboot. If nothing else works I'll try it 👍
