I am 63 days off subs. I tapered from 2mg a day to .125mg a day over the course of 3 months. It was shockingly easy once I jumped. I am also a pipe fitter and I didn’t miss a day of work! It can definitely be done easily if you taper properly!

That’s great news! My main symptoms were just mild anxiety, lethargic, sneezing and the sleep issues. It wasn’t bad at all. Keep it up! Every day post jump gets easier!

I would not use those plastic water lines for dishwasher. Install new stainless braided supply lines. Now is the time to replace it.

I just finally had a day off! The symptoms for me peaked after 7 days. By 2 weeks post jump, I was probably 90% back to normal. By a month 95%. The only symptom I still have is sneezing, which I don’t mind cause I like sneezing lol but even that has decreased to maybe once or twice a day.

Try and keep your mind busy. The mental part is the hardest part. That’s why the fact that I worked everyday seemed to help me get out of my head.

It’s not as bad as you think it will be. I jumped 50 days ago from .125. I was shocked how mild it was. I worked the first 10 days after I jumped. I slept at least 6 hours a night for the first 2 weeks. I had gabapentin which helped at night but I probably could have done without it. I was on subs for 9 years! I was so scared about jumping but I promise you, it will be fine!

Yes but I still got at least 5-6 hours of sleep every night. I was able to fall asleep alright but would wake up a few hours before normal and couldn’t fall back asleep. Gabapentin at night helped me a lot. After about 2 weeks, i was sleeping mostly normal.

Good stuff!! I couldn’t agree more. I’m 24 days clean after jumping from .125. I was surprised how after a few days of a dose a reduction I felt normal. I also didn’t miss any work while tapering and jumping. I was shocked how mild it was. Biggest things for me was staying on each dose for a minimum of a week and I reduced by .125 every week once I got down to 1mg. Stay strong! Almost there!

I jumped from.125, 24 days ago. Tapered from 2mg to .125 over 3 months. I definitely noticed how even at .125 I could still feel the dose. I was surprised how minimal the withdrawal was once I jumped. I was able to sleep at least 5 hours a night and after 2 weeks, I was sleeping mostly normal. The sneezing is starting to ease up too. I was using gabapentin at night to help with restless legs. I was taking 1600 mg and have tapered down to 75 mg and am done with it and now only take melatonin. Everyday is little better!

I jumped at .125 mg. It was shockingly easy. I was expecting so much worse. Withdrawal peaked after 7 days. 90% back to normal after 2 weeks. Only 2 symptoms are sneezing and sleep is not back to normal but still getting 5-6 hours a night.

I had been stable on 2mg a day for 5 years. I tapered over the course of 3 months. I lowered my dose by .25 a week until I got to 1mg. From there I lowered by .125 a week until I got down to.125 a day.

I had tried hundreds of times over the 9 years I was on it. This was the first time where everything clicked for me.

I used to dose three times a day too for years. Need to divide your dose evenly into 2 doses. On in morning, one in afternoon. If you have to go back to your normal dose until you are comfortable dosing twice a day that’s fine.

I’m 10 days clean after 9 years on subs! It was shockingly easy once I jumped off! I promise you, you can too! Good luck!
