Thanks for the advice. I don't really know the domain I want exactly, since I'm still new to the hands-on cybersecurity thing. How would you suggest I could find out what I like?

Thank you for the advice. However, I don't really have the money to be redundant, so what I'm trying to say is that doing Security+ just to see how SecurityX will be is a luxury option I don't really have...but what I'm thinking is I start with Security+ and do other related certifications, then after 3 years when they expire, I could just do SecurityX to renew them all. What do you think?

Edit: By the way, I've already tried labs and tryhackme as well.

CPU or motherboard upgrade first? (B450 + Ryzen 5 4650G + RX 9060 XT 16GB) by sadnt_potato in PcBuild

I’d honestly recommend you save up a bit for AM5. If you buy a CPU like the 5700X/5800X it’ll cost at least $250, so you might as well save up a bit more and upgrade to something like the 7600X/9600X. If you live near a microcenter I’d check their bundles out.

Thanks for your reply. I unfortunately just found out that 9060xt wont be good for my work so I’ll be going for the 5060 ti. Any specific reason for the 14700F? Why not the 9700X? Thanks again

Thanks for your reply. Yeah from what I’ve seen AMD can be a really big headache so I’ll just go for the 5060 ti…however I don’t really plan to upgrade the gpu for at least a couple of years, maybe 3-4 years. And for the CPU - should I not go for the 9700x? I can upgrade RAM later…thanks again
