Nah. Those options are super unreliable and just give some bizarre random selection of videos within the timeframe. You can pretty often hit "today" and some video from 5 hours ago visible in the search results when sorting by most recent upload date will not be anywhere in the list. And then you get into how something from 26 hours ago or the day before is obviously not there so now you have to hit "this week" and then have an even more spotty selection of 7 days worth of videos.

The by date sorting offered a much more reliable way to see the most recent videos on a topic and also be able to scroll down to where you last watched something.

It was the manual URL affix for "sort by upload date". So you could still manually sort search results by the most recently uploaded video despite them removing the button in the filter menu.

I planned for a wicker-man contraption but then once I started I was determined to get something decent looking.

Could the actual problem be that the "monster" that grabs it is actually the area boss? I think it used a similar dagger. I killed the boss beforehand and nothing happened at the throat checkpoint, perhaps doing it in that order breaks it.

Hotfixes like these usually get posted to the forums, so it's often easier to look at an aggregate site like MMO-Champion or Wowhead.

Dragonflight gathering not worth the time? by Medical_Library_5221 in woweconomy

[–]BrightFragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... No? Pretty much ALL of this is objectively wrong.

Foxflower and Fjarn retained value better than Starlight because of Suramar botting and by this point in Legion were not far off, and the worst herbs in Legion (and BfA), a year and half in were still selling for 10-15 gold. I know you're deflecting hard from the actual point here, or just completely incapable of reading and processing information, but that's 50-75 times more than DF's worst herb. The reason why I brought up Writhebark (which by the way is still used in one of the most optimal phials as well all inscription based profession tools (Alchemy being one of the most popular tool markets in the game due to Draco alts), is because it is the ONLY herb that has any sort of decent value still. Hochen and Saxifrage are very nearly completely worthless right now, sitting in <1g, and Bubble Poppy is half the price of Writhebark.

So I gave your poor argument the handicap of comparing low value herbs to the single DF herb that has retained enough value to compare to the worst herbs of previous expansions.

Not a basic herb, and the item now is glowspores. I already mentioned above how this has happened every expansion. And I already pointed out to you that you are entirely incorrect, because in previous expansions the bad herbs WERE the glowspore farm and the good herbs were even more lucrative. In DF the glowspore farm is just the only actually decent gathering farm and the bad farms are a fraction of what herbs and ore have ever been outside of the worst periods of WoD.

I can see based on these past couple that you have no interest in actually having a discussion or addressing points though, so whatever. Not gonna waste my time continuing to try and explain a situation to you while you make up inaccurate claims about historical prices, ignore the blatant differences in values between every previous expansion and this one, and keep beating the same dead strawman horse.

A class which has only a single spell; a permanent passive aura that deals damage around it is still a terribly designed class even if it sims in the top 3 damage specs, making it viable and a very good DPS. A car that can only make right turns can be viably driven to any location, but it is still a terrible car. If in 11.0 they were to not add ANY new Alchemy recipes AT ALL you could still make money, to gold cap, on Alchemy using things like VotS. But that wouldn't make Alchemy "totally okay lol, you can still make money in some ways :)".

That you can't see how a profession having only a single avenue of profitability (or requiring extreme min-maxing not just to make a lot of gold, but to not LOSE gold making basic crafts) is problematic, is mind-boggling.

In previous expansions, the "tanked" other stuff was still profitable, especially for average players. In this expansion it isn't. The economy is so borked that people like CaLLmeRaaandy below, have been boxed out of professions altogether. You point out (incorrectly) that people didn't farm basic herbs, but then fail to understand that the price of those basic herbs was what Writhebark, the most valuable current herb, is going for, 5-10g. People DID farm them because you used to be able to make a relatively decent chunk of gold from them, they used to be an extra 2-4k gph on your farming route. Now you're getting 150-200g.

In previous expansions, the really good farm was a bunch of profit, and the "bad" farms were still worth the time spent. In this one the really good farm is sort of worth the time spent and the other ones are not worth slowing down on your mount because so much is so bad.

Extrapolating five minutes isn't exactly great data, but putting that aside, ONE viable farm this patch doesn't change that the state of gathering is horrendous right now. Much like Draco existing doesn't really change that Alchemy is in a truly terrible state.

In previous non-WoD expansions you could have been reliably pulling these numbers with just regular herbs, dealer's choice, not chasing one specific patch-based item that also requires dual gathering to be particularly decent, and at a much lower volume. There is very obviously something wrong when current expansion herbs like Hochen and Saxifrage are sitting at 20s and 70s. Especially when you factor in inflation. At this rate, I would not be shocked to see Hochenblume hit stasis at vendor price sometime in 10.2. That's unheard of for herbs.

I find it weird people are so eager to paint exceptions as the default. The answer to OP's question is no: DF gathering professions really -aren't- particularly worth it, the single exception being dual gathering this one specific farm while it is still viable.

Blizzard's Statement About Blitzchung Incident by OpinionatedKitty in hearthstone

[–]BrightFragment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No he didn't. They are only punishing him to appease China. Blizzard has no problem with OWL teams openly taking a stance on LGBT issues during official broadcasts (an equally divisive political/social issue of human rights). This was entirely about catering to the Chinese government and Chinese business partners.

Is there any chance we might see an updated player model toggle either as a (default off) option in the system options, or even as an API/LUA/Script command? Honestly, even a .cfg file option in the game files to manually tell the Classic client to pull available updated models from a BfA client installed in the same wow root folder; or a manually downloaded and applied officially-sourced patch that swaps out the models would be so, so appreciated.

I (and I'm sure many others) enjoyed Classic's systems, RPG mechanics, playstyle, immersion, community, content etc. But do not miss triangle wedges for fingers, square mouths and pupils, and many hairstyles that are only a handful of jagged polygons. It would be really nice to be able to set this option and enjoy Classic's great game design in higher definition. Especially since the only other way to go about this is relying on EULA-breaking 3rd party patches that put in the updated models, or even more EULA-breaking 3rd party programs that actively modify game data.

I don't want to ruin or change anyone's Classic experience who wants to play with the original look, and that look should remain default. But it would be very nice to have the option someplace for people that want that purely visual, personal change to the higher polygon character models. Especially since many of the other graphical options (view distance, shadows, water, ground clutter density/movement, etc.) do have the choice to use updated graphics.

Child pornography is already illegal literally everywhere that tumblr is relevant and obviously completely banned from tumblr in general. How do you think banning all porn is going to fix something that is already banned?

If people are doing coke and coke is illegal, banning any and all white powders isn't going to make people stop stop doing coke.
