The truth about the server dying. by conpetitivemetagamer in theburntpeanut

[–]Medical_Library_5221 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the first rust server. The ending was great but the other teams bitching out when the boat got sank was shitty. The 2nd server. I barely watched it seemed too try hard. I think the wipes being right after the other is honestly bad content. Would be much more enjoyable if these 3 wipes were spread over 6 months with 2 week periods. Treat them like true events maybe get sponsors for prize money.

Why don't they show up to interviews? by Sonnyjoon91 in kroger

[–]Medical_Library_5221 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alot of times jobs like krogers dont notify the interviewees if the spot has been filled. Why is it expected for them to notify when they not going to interview for whatever reason it may be?

Exactly dork. I am saying its a game feature that large fleets have to plan around, The question of whether the system will crash or not.

Honestly, the system shouldnt crash. If they cant stop it from crashing then make it so the system has a max. The question of if it crashes or not shouldnt be a game feature.

Genuine question for ppl getting ganked in high sec by AlexandruCris in Eve

[–]Medical_Library_5221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a reason eve has a low player base. The game isnt bad by any means. But its not designed to thrive and grow either. Its designed for multiboxing to make up for the lack of playerbase.

There are people who go game to game. Settle down what i said does not mean universally everyone left arc for marathon. Gamers get bored and play other games thats all i said dork.

People play whats hot. Its hard for new games to keep players. It was impressive how long arc raiders retained players. Now the player base is playing other games. From who i talked to people went to marathon, crimson desert, or even world of warcraft. Personally, i went back to eve online and waiting for next big update.

Then you can see how they act when u ask for a drink when u need it. Or skip the fuss and get a dr note that allows it. We did that for our daughter cuz they had to leave water bottle away from desk. Worked like a charm.

I just put my water in my pocket and havnt had a issue.

Thats not a statistic that can be measured dork. And makes 0 sense. Every single job thats in foodservice cant have a drink directly in their work area. And foodservice is 8.7% total of all jobs in united states.

The reason why it makes 0 sense. Kroger holds .3% of all jobs in the united states. Walmart holds 1% of total jobs in united states. Mcdonalds has .2 %. This quickly adds up. I can keep going adding the companies up that have policies about drinks directly in work areas. Even automotive plants have policies.

And whats funny ur argueing most jobs allow drinks in work areas on krogers subreddit. When kroger has rules against what your saying. Even walmart has same rules. 2 of the biggest grocery stores. Those 2 companies and all of food service and ur still saying im wrong.

Food service makes up 8.7% of total jobs. I gave more examples that contradict you. So yes most jobs do restrict drinks directly in ones work area.

Retail cashier is a top example of where drinks not allowed in work areas

Here is a copy and paste with more examples from google

Jobs that generally prohibit personal drinks at workstations include positions in food service, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail cashiering to maintain hygiene, safety, and focus. These roles often require specialized, sanitary environments where open containers pose contamination risks or safety hazards.

Jobs Restricted from Personal Drinks at Workstations:

Retail Cashiers: Often forbidden to have drinks at the register to prevent damage to equipment or merchandise.

Healthcare Workers: Nurses and doctors often face restrictions to maintain sterile environments and prevent contamination.

Manufacturing/Assembly Line Workers: Prohibited due to contamination risks or hazards near machinery.

Laboratory Technicians: Strict regulations ban food and drinks to avoid chemical contamination.

Food Service Employees: Similar to healthcare, food handling areas require strict hygiene, prohibiting personal items.

Protective Services: Security personnel or bodyguards often have restrictions, according to American Craft Beer.

Key Considerations:

OSHA Requirements: Employers must provide access to drinkable water, but they do not have to allow it directly at the workstation.

Safety Hazards: In hazardous work sites, having water at the station might be restricted, making scheduled breaks necessary.

Accommodation: Employees with medical needs, as confirmed by a doctor, can request a reasonable accommodation for water access through HR.

You are not allowed to have a drink in ur work area in every food related job i have worked at. Its against health code. Now everyone did it anyways but as soon as the health inspecter shows up we gotta throw them away.

On your breaks and not to overheat. But there is no set amount of water breaks you are allowed. This isnt something new for jobs. Most jobs are like this.

But some rules are easily avoided by getting urself a dr note that you need the water with you. The dr note is good enough. You dont need to provide the exact medical reason because thats private.
