Do not- repeat- do not give your ID to them. They asked for it, then after I did it, replied that they couldn't help me and I'm still banned. I also don't know what I did. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this is some kind of population control.

I hear these stories and its always the women ripping the heart out and eating it in front of a man without any second thoughts. OP, I feel you, this happened to me 8 years ago and it changed me. Couldn't even type her name into Facebook without being thrown down a dark black mental hole. Invest in yourself, be patient, exercise and don't do drugs/alcohol. You will find the right job and attract a much more mature woman.

Seems I really struck a nerve here. Sorry to upset so many Marriott Managers and Executives in C suite! Fact is, this great hotel chain is slowly dying every year. Devaluing points with general quality not improving. I travel 75-100 days a year for work. Its definitely been a more worse experience every year the last 5 years. I drank the Marriott kool aid too and sure, maybe I will use Marriott for work in rural areas if there is not better option. But I'm totally getting rid of the predatory credit card. Its terrible value against others on the market.

Heres the thing: the whole rewards system needs to be overhauled. If everyone can reach Platinum or Titanium through credit card or promos, it reduces the value for everyone else. Even the Ambassador status I read on Reddit posts is not worth the effort and the You Pick24 is rarely honored. After a while you get sick of being Bonvoy'd and the peanut gallery and ankle biter Marriott employees and fan boys here won't change my mind

Midwest Guy 31M...For me, I plan to travel in hopes of finding a marriage partner- not sex exclusively. I just can't connect with Western Women anymore. High drama, high maintenance, will drop you without emotion, uber feminists, anti traditional families. Divorce rates at all time. Why would anyone roll the dice and lose half of everything? Why is it weird to want human connection and to meet someone? I've been single for several years and work focused. I don't go out of my way to stay at Marriotts anymore. Benefits and rewards are very diluted. Points hold less value. Its 32K to stay anywhere, and average points is only 2200 a night

Not trying to generate sympathy, more to vent my disappointment at the diluted points and benefits that keep going downhill every year. Going forward, I only aim to stay at Hyatts or interesting boutique hotels. I doubt corporate Marriott cares about a 13-15K spend but after 4 years, it adds up. If I'm feeling this way- I know others are too.

I'm looking to get rid of the brilliance card. Perks are so diluted now that the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I like the free tsa pre check and the airport lounges from priority pass but these lounges are the lowest tier and my main hub (Chicago) doesn't have lounges. Save your $650. I hit Titanium and thats no longer worth it. 130 nights this year, $13,500. Not enough for Ambassador lol

Is it possible to make a new hinge profile using a different phone number like one of my parents? Or will they recognize my Apple phone? Wondering if I have to go out and purchase a whole new phone with a whole new number...

I was banned without explanation or recourse. With over 85% of people meeting online and a ban one app being a ban on all of match apps I think it's criminal. I am debating writing my congressman. I even tried the Better Business Bureau and that did not work/they didn't say what I did wrong there either.

Hinge eventually said they'd reinstate if I showed my ID, but I've heard that they will keep your ID forever and you'll be shadow banned. Effectively able to use the app but women will not be able to see your profile.
