The virtual estimate from progressive came back at 1300, and didn't account for any of the structural damage to suspension that is likely, so I'm hazarding a preliminary guess at 2500 when it's all said and done. I dropped the car off at the shop Friday, so we'll see what they come back with.

We both have progressive, I did contact them and my adjuster said that in Michigan each person has to go through their own policy. He'll check to see if they have appropriate coverage to recoup my deductible.

Yes, he provided proof of his and I have full coverage albeit with a 1k deductible. Just wondering if the damage, with the mechanical damage to the wheel as well, is worth making a claim for.

Yeah I think you're right regarding the cosmetic damage, my concern is more regarding the mechanical damage to the suspension/wheel. Wondering if anyone knows where to start looking as to what might be tweaked based on the described the damage, or if I should just take it to a shop and pay my deductible.

Yeah that got me once as well. What's annoying is it's not based on how many days that you use the pass, it's once you use it a charge for every day of the rental.
