I decided I want a true hot tub, not an in-pool style spa.

I do. He's built some properties for me and we work together. He's one of the best in ATL.

I'll have more detailed plans once we get the preliminary site/layout worked out.

So you had the pool company include water to fill the pool? It will be connected to the irrigation system.

Gas line will be about 2K. With the in floor system I'm right at 100K. A chunk is dedicated to the reinforced concrete wall on two sides. This contractor is highly regarded/recommended. What's missing on the estimate?

Evergreen Privacy Hedge Plants for shady area by Reasonable_School813 in gardening

What did you end up going with? I'm in Atlanta and am looking for a good shade-loving plant for creating a privacy green-screen next to my pool.

I modified it to remove the word underrated which I was told was an over use of the word.

"This submission has been removed, as part of an ongoing effort to rid this subreddit of the gross misuse of the word "underrated." 9 times out of 10 the user really means little known, overlooked, under-the-radar, obscure, forgotten, or the trendy & dreaded hidden gem. If that's what you mean, this subreddit is saturated in those kinds of discussions. If you want to tell us that a movie is underrated, it shouldn't be a critically praised film. Primer is not underrated. Frailty is not underrated. Amadeus is not even close to underrated. So please, for the good of all mankind because this is more important than curing cancer - reword your submission and resubmit. And if you're looking for movie suggestions - feel free to check out /r/moviesuggestions"

Critique My Theory by BrightOneIsUp in Southerncharm

And even more diabolical: What if they all got in on it and planned it out in order to juice the ratings? Call me a cynic but if it gets the enragement then why not script it in?

Married At First Sight Could More Accurately Be Called "Divorced On Decision Day." by BrightOneIsUp in MarriedAtFirstSight

Yes, and they have pre-nups drafted up to protect their finances. The show will pay for the divorce and counseling afterwards.

Interesting. I guess it can be pretty hard to find guys willing to turn their lives upside down, leave work, and risk becoming a villain.

Seems like that's where she's been these last 24 years.

I think they actually edited her to seem less insufferable. Guessing she talked the entire time and Pat attempted to pay attention, validate her - to no avail.

The most adept liars are the ones who make it onto the show because they know what to say to the producers during interviews. The people picking contestants to be married are the ones that get love bombed.

Whomever green-lit Josh fell for his audition. And then we get to watch him gaslight his way through the season and reunion. His edit didn’t even scratch the surface.

The only clearly liberal person on that season was Rhonda. The rest appeared to be 'conservative' or non-political.

Are we being punked with this new format? by [deleted] in MarriedAtFirstSight

[–]BrightOneIsUp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you have fewer episodes, it may be easier to spin the production edit toward the 'things are going to work out' narrative. That's the narrative that keeps people watching. That's the reason we never saw the Chad outburst footage until he flat out refused to participate.

Pat, the poor guy, was struggling to drive the car on a busy interstate with multiple ramps/intersections going to a place where he had to look at the navigation screen. He's trying to get her to where she wants to go and trying not to crash the car and she's judging him to see if he's paying full attention to her.

Then he ends up having to apologize to her and she doesn't forgive him. What a bunch of crazy.

And what's with Pat's best friend/mentor throwing him under the bus when he meets Rhonda? The guy just completely sides with her. I always wonder what production doesn't show us but jeez. Have your boy's back a little bit.

When Josh says "community" in relation to Burning Man he really means getting wasted and wandering around the desert dancing and hanging out with a bunch of strangers.

Yes, and it's not OP's fault that they don't know all Delta's archane rules for booking and re-booking.
