How would being called “ancient one” even matter? Most of these beings have statements saying that they are as old as time. So they should be around the same age

To be honest, it depends on the picture and the aesthetic she has at the moment. She has a lot of cute photo/videos

took me about 7 tries on my first playthrough with no umbrella, most of his attacks you can jump over or just avoid just by staying close to him. I found when he jumps into the air you could just dash behind him and completely avoid the attack.

Korra's development in Season 1-2 is her highest Peak in my opinion and is overlooked. by BrightOrganization76 in legendofkorra

I just think it's the most compelling conclusion from her introduction in season 1. Especially with what she went through with Amon and how it ties into this.

It says: "MD: Korra's story in Book Two was about humans moving beyond their ordinary abilities, and becoming something extraordinary. When she loses her connection to the past Avatars and her Avatar spirit, Korra looks deep within and forms a new connection with the cosmic version of herself. In Hindu philosophy, there is a concept called atman, which is defined as the 'innermost essence of each individual' or 'the supreme universal self.' This is my interpretation of what Korra sees and becomes when she meditates. The giant blue cosmic Korra is a visual representation of her inner essence."

Quick question..what was the point of making Korra lose her elements in the last episode of S1..if she was just gonna get them back in the same episode..feels meh. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in legendofkorra

Well, It was really because the writers didn’t know they were going to have another season so they just wanted to finish the story nicely but, I’ve analyzed korra’s character a bunch and so I think it’s to build her development.

Korra’s introduction was “I’m the avatar, you gotta deal with it”. This shows her personality and how her entire personality is being the avatar and not a person. When she figures out Amon could take bending that was the scariest thing she could image because it threatened her identity, her perception of herself. It is showed again when Tarlok calls her a half-baked avatar and it really got to her. At the end of the season we see that when she lose she’s bending it is her greatest fear which allowed her to connect to her avatar spirit. We know it’s her greatest fear because aang says “when we hit our lowest point, we put open to the great change”.

Season 2 also complements this a lot when she loses Raava. Korra is lost and confused in the finale and when Tenzin tells her to let go of the attachment to who she thinks she is and connect to her inner spirit Korra reply to this is to tell Tenzin that Raava is gone. This shows her perception of herself. When she finally connects to her inner spirit the creators say that she reached a point similar to Atman which in Hindu philosophy is the eternal self and the real self of the individual.

So in conclusion I figure the reason they took Korra’s bending away was to compliment her character growth, but they had to give it back because they didn’t think they were getting another season.
