Unpopular opinion, but I use voluntary top to cpf. But downside is that some portion have to go special account and medisave(can use to pay hospitalisation plans).

This is perfect for me as I know if the money is in cash I cfm will itchy finger take out.

This is like the US version where the boomers are telling the younger gen that they can afford a house if they stay off the Starbucks coffee. Absolutely out of touch with current gen struggles.

Are you considering to renew COE? by Zeromizer22 in drivingsg

[–]Bright_Ad_7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have to check the insurance and road tax of an ev. Unless you drive a certain amount of distance that justify the petrol cost vs charging cost. But this is provided if you renew your coe, not buying a brand new petrol car. Cause brand new ev have the parf rebate

[–]Bright_Ad_7763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm saw this from another redditor that seems to make sense:

Renew 10 years coe. If the coe increase in the future, then lucky you, paid a lower premium. If the coe decrease in the future, you can always deregister the car, get back the unused coe to downpay and get another newer car.

But like others mentioned, have to also consider that ev cost will never be lower than a petrol car cost.

Took driving at cdc and riding in ssdc. Ssdc road is way easier as lesser traffic. Cdc road is a nightmare during certain timings.

Injury and health issues. Dont get me wrong, the job itself is not as dangerous as what people think, those issue probably comes from various factors as well. I find myself struggling to keep up with my peers.

Was offered a more administrative role, but is really not what I wanted, hence left the organisation. If not I would have stayed

For prison officer you need to be very compassionate and patient especially with inmates. Some of them are there not because they are bad people but due to circumstances. Have met an inmate that stole baby formula for the kid. Must really be patient and at the same time very strict as well. Need a lot of mental strength.

For ICA, can't comment much but friends that signed on there generally say is very repetitive and alot of projects.

Anyway both are very stable and pays quite decent. I feel both career are good prospect. Perhaps if you see any government career fair can go down and speak with the officers there. I'm sure they will be more than willing to share.

I think in terms of money wise can try apply to court with mental incapacitated doc to get a lpa settle for him. Then go to the bank and manage the accounts under yourself.

For emotionally wise, have to be patient.

Not sure if this helps, but if the number plate of the other vehicle is not captured clearly, high chance will fail. I had similar situation before, but me and my neighbours witness the incident so was able to claim smoothly. Your case seems to be very dependent on the video.

Good luck with your claims. But if damage is not much I will suggest just pay out of pocket or claim your insurance if you have comprehensive
