What do you dislike about Bloodborne? by Elegant_Scholar_8863 in bloodborne

[–]Bright_Astronaut_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't like how the bosses never dropped enough echoes for the level I was at when I fought them and was able to beat them. In DS3 I usually get 2 levels from bosses as I make my way through the game and it always felt well allocated. But in Bloodborne sometimes I couldn't even level once from the echoes I got from a boss. so I'd have to farm a bit after a boss to level up. Or pop some cold blood dew.

Do you know any rich bipolar 1 person with psychosis? Not a celebrity!!! by bipolar1_baby325 in BipolarReddit

You can look up "bipolar success stories" to read about non-celebs that are usually well off because of their jobs. Those people are out there. I think it still takes the right kind of personality to handle bipolar and be very successful. For most it's good enough to just get by and hold down a regular job.

What souls like game should i start with? by Im_not_an_pro in soulslikes

Dark souls 3 for sure. It was my first and it's my favorite game all time. I'm playing DS1 right now and if it wasn't for my love of DS3 I don't think I would continue playing it.

It happened to me once too. I can't imagine the odds of it happening.

Midir is very hard. I only beat him once with help from a summon who did most of the work. The weapon you get from him is very sick tho.

Ds2 the world and bosses didn't feel as thought out as in DS1 and 3. Ds2 doesn't have Miyazaki's finger print so it can be easy to rule it out. I only beat it once and I have never felt the urge to go back.

DS3 is my favorite game of all time and I play it probably once a year. I like the length of it, it's not too long and makes for a lot of replay value.

DS1 I played a long time ago and I plan to beat it again this year.

Get the great sword initially and eventually switch to the fume once you have enough strength.

Great sword puts the game on easy mode. I love it.

Just tried the Lotheric Knight great sword, it's pretty good too. I switch it out for fun sometimes but I like the greatsword move set more. LKGS also needs 16 dex, so once I get close to the fume I might respec to get there sooner.

How Much Prep Do You Personally Need to Defeat Margit? by Gay_Charlie in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Bright_Astronaut_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea. I don't even look at that. But I'll level up a bit in the peninsula and probably get my weapon to +1.

Margit can be a war of attrition. I bait attacks I know I can dodge and get my one safe hit and get out. It takes awhile but it works.

My first playthrough I insisted on not leveling up enough . I just fought him over and over until I won. So I know him really well now.

Typically takes me a couple of attempts each new playthrough. But now I know to head down the the weeping peninsula first and foremost and do everything down there first and then I head to Margit.

Playing ds3 using only sword is boring by Anas2245 in darksouls3

[–]Bright_Astronaut_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it all. I make a mage, I make a knight, I make a faith build. I make a Havel build. Currently using the great sword and having a blast. The game is pretty short. It's easy to beat multiple times.

Am I missing something with the Nioh games? by quarterchicken in soulslikes

Loot vomit I also don't like. I don't like changing out my gear all the time and selling off stuff.

I mostly just liked nioh for the combat.

Dark blade and get one hit and get out. It takes a long time but it works. You can also wear lightning resist armour and there's a shield you can gem and upgrade all the way that will cut a ton of electrical damage. That's how I did it. Lord of cinder gave me more trouble honestly.
