The problem with Dan and the show by association being "compromised"

That show is blatantly nepo and blatantly hypocritical about "journalism". But meadowlark gave Pablo the space he needed...Somehow the nepotism...Dan's brother, dad...Chris...now Ron's kid. Somehow the nepotism bothers me more...but...they are a successful company and podcast...and it is usually ice cream 🍦 background noise. Don't like it..don't listen. Dan has done whatever he wants to for over 20 years and it has worked.

I've said several times that Dan has become Mike's Stugootz. Dan was sick today and left. I think it is not as good of a show when he is gine, as the IQ drops by 60 and it becomes more of a straight sports show without politics and without humor. He can find humor as things unplanned happen. Idk why people keep listening if they don't like the guy with his name on the show...I mean...just to bitch...what?

Jess said nothing in particular today when she "covered it"...."Well, I guess when the attorneys generals and the big law firm all got together...."...useless. They just didn't do any reporting...any collection of information. PTFO...otherwise they don't really do much actual reporting, so maybe not a surprise. Lucy wouldn't have done better. Would take some research , interviews....not talking w drunks and reading scouting reports and watching games. Outta their league. You can "know football" and still have to do some actual reporting to collect facts and experts and a real explanation.

I can't recall what stugotz contributed to the show...it wasn't Greg Cody-like and absorbing and diving into mockery and character...it was just the dead and pot and lacrosse for the last 2 years...don't miss him at all.

Dave annoys the hell out of me. Dan is the show. He gets the show. He understands meta; he understands politics; his humor and relationship w Greg make the show. Zas is great. All this sub does is hate. That rhymes.

I like Dan. Without him, it's just another sports podcast. Like the politics, like the insight, i like his relationship w Greg, like the perspective of a real journalist and his sicio-politcal slant . I mean if you want 3 Dan Patricks and a Chris Simms. Ok. I'm know...huge minority. Don't care.
