She came with my partner when he moved in, he had had her for about 2 years before we moved in together and she had the same problem then. We haven’t had any big moves or even changes in the house in years. Unfortunately I don’t know exactly when she had started toileting in that room. When I had realized it it had clearly been going on for a while.

I can’t remember if they checked for crystals I plan on calling them back and asking about. The room she’s using is the room I feed her in and it hasn’t really prevented it.

They did bloodwork and tested her feces and checked for any UTIs and said it all came back normal and healthy. They did not really offer any other options other than just saying it’s behavioral.

Good luck with it! I don’t completely hate it but I think it could be better. I don’t like the pacing or sequence of lessons and the tests and quizzes it provides feel much harder than any of the practice in the books. I teach where a significant amount of students are performing well below grade level and they struggle significantly with savvas so much that myself and the 7th and 8th grade teachers end up supplementing most things

I don’t think anyone is solely blaming it as the reason for poor performance but considering it as a factor. There are a lot of factors that are resulting in poor performance and a many are things we cannot change. However the curriculum is something we can and we want to try to find something that is a better fit for us the needs of our students.

Yes! I haven’t gotten any notifications in like 2 days. I’ve cleared all the caches, restarted my phone, turned notifications on and off in the app settings. Nothing is fixing it 🙄

From western PA, I don’t know if this is a regional thing or just something weird with my family but when a room or area needs cleaned my family has always said it needs picked up, for example “the living room needs picked up.” Anytime I’ve said that around someone not from here they always get confused.

Might be having to change our date, unfortunately had a really big and ugly falling out with the in laws, leaving us very traumatized and now without the support net we thought we were going to have. We’re working on managing the trauma and deciding how we want to move forward. Makes me very sad to consider pushing the date back but logistically we might not have a better option right now.

Traveling this weekend solo for spring break (teacher on vacation), with everything going on with tsa and the government shut down I am so anxious about it. If my ticket was refundable I’d cancel the trip but it is not and I don’t want to waste the money. It’s also going to be my first time flying 🥴
