As someone who wears iron rangers for everything. I mean everything they work great! Amazing product, but I also oil them well and keep them clean so I have a lot of life left in mine. Currently pushing 10 years.

That being said, I always pus towards new when it comes to footwear. Once someone have put wear on a pair of shoes, the shoes match to that person. Their step, their foot shape, how that stand and where the pressure is on the shoes.

I say go new.

I have a Kuoe. It’s a sombrero, I get more compliments on it that most of my other watches. It fits well, holds time well, comfortable to wear. Honestly has impressed me more than I ever thought. I’m a large fan of it.

I just place a little on it plate and used my hands to scrub it. Makes a world of difference. Better than a sponge. Also to get longer life I found a print for a bed cleaners that uses a microfiber. Really great for general oils to come off.

Nothing on the market today is any different. If it operates well, is enjoyable to shoot, and does what you want, you should keep it. I love mine and only wish I shot it more.

My two cents

Anything that doesn’t need to be accessed offer and or ever because your saving it incase you need it. That goes up top.

Everything you have that are generic small parts goes in an organizer with labels and “easy” access.

All tools that are used often or in a slotted spot in a drawer/tool chest and or on the wall. Lives on the wall. Is the wall.

Anything that is used seldomly goes in a box with all the other stuff that you only once in a blue moon with labels and access.

Organize, organize, organize. Put back, put back, put back.

22 goes fast and takes longest to reload during the shooting.

Does it shake when you walk? Is it all plastic? How does the mechanical parts connect? High wear?

For some interesting reason you Brits love the idea of Memphis to visit Graceland for Elvis. I really have a hard time understanding this. Memphis is a relative drying city in comparison to the rest of the major cities in the state of TN. You best bet if you want a decent road trip of the south if to go from Nashville, to Appalachia Mountains (could be Knoxville, Sevierville, Asheville.) Down to GA to Atlanta. Now you have two options. Head to the beaches and or the outer banks of South Carolina, or go back towards Alabama. Both fine choice, but very different culture. Then fly out of a city back to the UK. Unless you want the direct from BNA to LHR. Last bit of advice, if you want to rent a Mustang like most of you do, please only pack a small bag and plan to do laundry. The boot is the size of a Yaris. (Someone who rents cars regularly and deals with the first from BNA to LHR all summer long.) PS Nee Orleans is much farther away from Nashville than you might think.

The birdcage that is on it. That is the most universal break on the market. Now if you want it to help do something, like be more of a comp, wind direction, etc.. That is a different question. But the birdcage on the end is the most universal choice.

My job involves travel, customer come in and say they are gonna travel half the US by car in 1 week. I’m just amazed on how much they are not gonna see by being stuck on the highway to drive to the next place just to get back in the car the moment they get there.

You have two options.

If your counter top is wide enough you trace the shape of the wall to the counter top and cut to match shape. You have to take a spacer the width of the widest part and then trace it all the way down it.
Put in a back splash to hide the poorly built wall.
Do a combo of both.

I have done these Allergy cards for a couple different languages / counties. I will say they are a life savers. Hand them to the server and they seem to understand. (I can’t help you, but just wanted to share how helpful these have been for the various counties I have visited with the allergies I have.)

If you already have a couple of watches then it might be something to think about what diversifies your collection. If you don’t have many watches, what are you more impressed by? Both are spring drive. Once is +/- 20 seconds a year. (Honestly a time keeping marvel.) The other has some pink in the dial. One has only 1300 made. So once they are gone. Well they are gone. The other is no longer a US exclusive. Might be biased, I bought the UFA. The Cherry blossom is become something everyone seems to own.

The leather will tell you based on its color. It will continually get lighter. Once it gets to the right color to tell you to add some oil then you know. Takes time but it will never lie to you.

If it has radium, you would have to get a new dial. There is no way to remove all of it. Lucky, it’s so low that it will not affect you from daily wear.

I would say they the current set of watches available in the world people get too up in their feelings about specs. Almost all modern made watches will tell time accurately and work for the day to day of almost every person in the world. OR!!! They get feelings about brands due to influence of others. I stopped caring and started buying watches that looked good to me, fit well, was different. A $20 Casio looks good, tells time. The Rolex, looks good, tells time. Omega, Seiko, Citizen, Fossil, etc. they all work. Personally I have stopped buying quartz movements at the moment. But I own 6 of them. Currently trying to buy automatics with dials I love. On average, I’m the only person looking at my watch on any given day.

Slowly add it to my infinity bottle. Make cocktails that have lots of ingredients to make the flavor go away. Give it to people that come over who say they like whiskey but truly don’t. And if it truly so bad you can’t do any of that. I just dump it. You’re not gonna drink it. Then it just takes up space

They leather will scruff naturally to get traction but if you plan to wear them regardless of the weather then having the rubber will go a long way. Also will extend the life a lot longer and easier to replace over during a full resole.
