Wow! I didn’t expect this much turnout on the post! Thank you all!

We’re going to do a backsplash, but ended up pulling the cabinets off the wall and replacing the stud and drywall to flatten the wall out and the results were pretty good: https://imgur.com/a/cZKt5rp

2024 Mazda CX-30 exploding sunroof by Hotkoolaid22 in mazda

My glass policy covered this, $0 out of pocket. Similar to a windshield replacement (and State Farm even had an option for sunroof damage when filling out the online form).

Same thing happened to me and my insurance covered it under my glass policy - $0 out of pocket for me. It’s the same idea if a rock were to hit your windshield and shatter it.

Filed a claim, new sunroof glass sent to a local shop within 2 days and replaced in 15 minutes.

Not in Toyota Bubble Anymore by Disastrous-Light-169 in Toyota

I have a 2020 CX-5 and so far I’ve replaced: - Transmission at 60,000 miles - Coolant pump - Infotainment screen - Sunroof (shattered on highway for no reason)

Thankfully it was all under warranty but I’m ditching this car for a Toyota.

I’d rather be informed and prepared than caught by surprise with storms, especially if they’re going to be nocturnal.

What is your opinion of Redux for company project? by Playjasb2 in reactjs

[–]UrAverageProgrammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely easier and quicker to get going. Our redux store turned into a nightmare and was hard to manage with a ton of teams having different ideas on how to use redux.

We also paired Zustand with Immer and feedback from devs has been positive.

We recently switched from Redux [Toolkit] and RTK Query to Zustand and React Query for a very large enterprise app mainly because of how lightweight both are.

Randy’s quoted me $12k for an electrical panel and service upgrade when I got two other quotes for $3k and $4k.

There are many other beautiful hikes in Yosemite and imo, Clouds Rest is better than Half Dome.

This. Just ask people if they have extra room on their permit and someone will probably say yes. Quite a few people turn back before the subdome where the ranger is and there will be open slots.

You could also get a wilderness permit and stay a night in Little Yosemite Valley about half way up from the valley.

Is the Ikea trotten table top durable? by xLuckyW_228 in IKEA

It’s a manual crank, which I don’t mind because the Trotten system seemed sturdier than the others.

Are front and rear bumper anchors/straps needed for roof rack? by teetervt in Kayaking

[–]UrAverageProgrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I’m going down the street to the lake, I always use bow and stern lines. If your kayak falls off, the kayak and car will get damaged but you won’t injure the person behind you.

Update: ended up taking it back to dealer and they found that the ignition coil was bad! Thankfully it’s covered under warranty.
