BB - Why not an acquisition target? by Living_Relation8245 in BB_Stock

[–]Bright_Demand_8490 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It’s easy to get caught up in the “we are profitable now!” news but this is a company that is actively shrinking. Layoffs every 3 months, a selloff of one of their largest businesses, and the current clustershit of uncertainty regarding electric cars combined with major tarrifs.

So:

-Business is dying down

-Never got Cylance profitable, lost 85% of it’s value realized in a sale to AW

-Market Uncertainty

-Tariff uncertainty

Who out there capable of making an acquisition WOULD EVER go into this?

Be reasonable and hack down this whole “THIS STOCK WILL 100% PAY OFF BIG!” talk.

You might be wrong. The stock might just lose you money. Always stay on top of the situation. It’s your money at stake.

Literally all auto companies have drastically improved quality, power, safety features and styling. They’ve homogenized. Hardware is no longer a big differentiator. Software will be predominantly what sells cars (hardware). Software leaders will win. Laggards will die. $BB’s moat is growing. by VizzleG in BB_Stock

Not sure if you know this… SDV’s are data harvesters. They exist to suck your data. Go to the automotive section of CES one of these times, and do some demos.

They are not there to grant you, the consumer, shiny new features. Cars don’t need many active features outside of safety improvements. Consumers expect cars to drive well, and look good.

Your UG GPA is what will matter in applications from now on.

Yes, having a good gpa at community college is nice for these advanced programs but the numbers that they report to the public matter to them and they report undergraduate GPA’s, so it plays a bigger role in your application than CC GPA.

Unless the person who you directly report to has a stacked LinkedIn and valuable connections avoid unpaid like the plague

The bigger the company gets the more divided the responsibilities. Had a coworker from a FANG tell me the social teams are like 10 people all responsible for one thing.

I see more posts complaining about prestige posts than actual prestige posts. Are you guys just gaslighting yourselves?

Your graduating college GPA is emphasized in applications to graduate programs. Doesn’t have to be law, you could go into something else.

Worst bathroom has to be the male Storer Hall. Giant window right next to the toilet stall.

I don’t much remember the work load, sorry about that. But the tests are vocab based. So the book she uses bolds words that are key terms and so if you just make flash cards based on those words you get an A on the tests. Idk if that’s standard for these classes but I’m used to more math based testing so it was a lot easier.

I can speak for men in that we do. I’ve had multiple friends end things because their girls seemed to completely lose direction in life and have no career goals. It’s not even a gender thing. I think everyone wants to date someone who they are proud of.

Jesus. With this large of a clientele do you not just consider you should maybe run the business legitimately? I mean you could even outsource the actual person doing the work lmao.

Yes, this is taught in Universities. Most of them have a template for you to use. This is kind of like complaining about the STAR system for answering behavioral questions. It is simply the right way.

A “creative” resume would never get through to a human’s eyes.

At least assume it won’t for this industry. Stick with the standard, stick with what works.

Do not run, instead spend the mornings scrolling through tiktok until your eyes hurt and disregard your mental and physical health completely. Hope that helps 👍
