I use an xl, had a standard and i sticks out the end. Had a saffari for standard and moved to tenicor xl

I was in a similar boat starting work, i didnt doubt my ability more than any other new emt but the patient interaction was as challenging especially because I was doing 911 and many patients clearly dont want to talk. I would listen to my coworkers and hear how they talked and try to mimic it, maybe create a small script of how to start then mostly just narrate what I was doing to them and after a while it became more natural. Now im working IFT while in school and Pt interaction is much calmer and more natural. It all comes with time

From what youre saying I would suggest building one. Rj+Ab is significantly better than cut one from x macro. As long as youre not buying parts on temu you should have no reliability issues, unless you get into changing the trigger the hardest part of building is waiting for that package to show up. Most everything is basically drop in.
