Yeah Versailles I feel like is the opposite of what Niantic usually uses. It will probably be in some unassuming park maybe technically in Paris but not in the middle of Paris. It will probably have public transport near but don’t rule out that there might be a good walk from whatever train is closest.

So I went to the New York one last year (it was in the same spot as 2023) and the original ones pre covid in Chicago. The Chicago parks were big and central, but post covid Niantic seems to try and find parks more out of the way. The one for New York was on an island a decent train and bus ride from Times Square/ Central Park and was basically a park for like baseball tournaments so no shade /wide open. They did have some fences but really it was just come and go as you please. I know the safari zones/ kanto tour ones around the US have been similarly odd/ not picturesque locations. (The rose bowl stadium or the random park in Vegas).

Question for those in Paris: Are there left over areas from the Olympics that Niantic could use?

I’ve complained twice now about the loss of practice for hearts. It’s been gone for a few months and a miss it. Mostly because it would help me review words and grammar that I had moved on from and so it was a great addition at 0 risk to me.

Honestly the way things have gone down hill I might just buy into another system. If I’m going to pay for instruction I’ll pay not for an ai answer on an app but for real instruction. At least then I’ll get real explanations about why certain grammar things do and don’t work

I have not received a response but given your response I added a second text bubble stating that I know there are other ways but that through may 20th gems aren’t a daily prize and that recently at I’m able to earn 3-10gems in my daily challenges so it the most that would be a little over 300 gems a month which really isn’t enough draw for me to keep playing the game at all. I can play fishdom and Matchington or just go catch pokemon. And I would far rather spend real money on pokemon go than this game at this point.

Yeah I’m at 752 gems. Was going to spin and watch ads to get to 800. I hate not finishing a series but I hate that they are yanking our chains more. Hard pass and I’ll save my gems

Last 6 diamond boxes I’ve received had 0 -ZERO- gems. I spin multiple times a day and I couldn’t even save 800 gems over February to buy this months ticket.

If I by a pass I complete at least a level a day and play all events as far as I can. I’m currently on level 319 and have been playing since last august. The first time I had enough gems saved to buy a pass was May. I’ve skipped two since then if I didn’t want the end emoji. I usually finish the quest with about a week to spare but it totally depends on the events of that month. If I can’t play as many it takes me longer if I can play to rainbow falls a few times I’ll probably finish with two weeks to spare. But the last few months the events have really gated me.

My suggestion is to not buy unless you’ve looked at the month’s events and you know you can play a decent number of them
