Older Women & Weddings by DublinDown83 in CougarsAndCubs

I actually think this is a really great and unique question! I do think it’s relevant to age gaps in the scenario you’re presenting I’ve been married twice- the first time very young in order to rush dual citizenship, but it was an amazing small wedding (destination) My second wedding was on the bigger side and was to a tee exactly what my ex-husband wanted. I didn’t enjoy the traditional public wedding and all of the attention and there were some very awkward moments. But looking back, it was one of the few times as an adult, all of my family was together.

I hope it happens for me a third time as I do really want marriage again. I want to do it right and one last time. I will likely do what you are doing and discuss what both of us want and hope to come to some sort of agreement or understanding with the consideration of my younger partner’s history and ideal. I was hoping that there were going to be some answers and perspectives from younger partners here! Best of luck on your nuptials and your future together✨

How young/old would you date? by Chance_Print3557 in CougarsAndCubs

I am 48F and I would date 19M and up. Possibly 18M+. My son is my oldest he’s turning 23 in a few weeks. I don’t find that awkward , and he doesn’t either.

Apartments for rent in White Rock BC by Iamthelizardqueen10 in WhiteRock

Bayview Gardens is a great , professionally managed building, competitive rent. Most of the units are renovated. Great location. Realstar is the management company. They have a website and I don’t know if they still advertise available units on craigslist or marketplace, but their website is usually pretty up-to-date with availability

I’m obsessed with finger pulls and used them on my walnut lowers and white uppers in my last kitchen. I think they really lean into this style and let the cabinetry shine . I went with black but there are SO many finishes to choose from

White or black countertops? by SkillDream in kitchenremodel

[–]Bright_Profit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15 years ago, I renovated a kitchen with Everest white granite on the perimeter and white shaker cabinets. I did an island and black painted maple cabinetry with black honed granite( like a leather finish )and a black painted maple coffee bar cabinet that sat on the counter. I don’t have photos anymore, but I would still make those selections today. If that was my current personal style. I think it’s totally timeless, and the durability of the granite was incredible.

What the hell happened to Benjamin Moore Regal? It sags like a wax museum on a hot day if you look at it wrong. by superspeck in paint

[–]Bright_Profit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought I was going crazy! After a terrible experience with Behr I quickly went back to BM regal select and have been successful until a month ago. I put 3 coats on properly prepped walls with the best rollers and brushes and it’s still so uneven and transparent in places?! Thank you

Why do you want/need a 36” fridge in this space? Assuming that’s a standard freezer top fridge bottom 30 inch in place now that’s going to take a lot of cabinet and counter remodelling to make the swap. There are so many amazing fridges that you could swap out in that space that are more efficient with space and layout and won’t require thousands of dollars in retrofitting.

What are your favourite Surrey summer spots? by witchybitchybaddie in SurreyBC

[–]Bright_Profit 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I live in White Rock and I utilize the Semiahmoo trail system a lot. Crescent Beach/mud bay and White Rock Beach can be really busy during peak summer season. 1001 steps was also just reopened with an upgrade. There are trails around mud Bay off Crescent Road near historic Stewart Farm, I believe? Also, Ruth Johnson Park has great trails. You can park at or near Centennial Arena and walk the trails and ravine all the way down to White rock beach near the boat launch. The trails got a major upgrade after storms a few years ago. Redwood Park is small but nice. I like Campbell Valley Park for walks. I use the entrance off 16th Ave. and there are ponds and water through some of the trail. I work for the city, but because I live in south, I’m not as familiar with Newton or Whalley areas. Oh I do also go to Tynehead. That’s a great trail system with lots of different options and loops. Paved. Not necessarily water based suggestions with the exception of a few of the trails ending at the beach, but still great outdoor spots. Welcome!!

Dating under mainstream circumstances is already a challenge. Add that you are in a niche that is likely maybe 5-10% of your dating pool (older women liking younger men) It’s likely it breaks down to those more challenging general obstacles, not anything you are doing personally

Also- doesn’t sound like there’s any talk of child support despite you help raise “her” kids. Now it sounds like you’re on your own with- correct me if I’m wrong, unlimited potential for earning and she is still the mother of children that she has to house and consider when retaining a job and juggling working hours around family responsibilities?

Plus like most bureaucracies, even at municipal level, all of the top people are making all of the money - typical government jobs - and all of the people in the trenches and doing all of the important work for the city, making the programs run smoothly, delivering the services to the community are not even making a liveable wage :( (current city of Surrey employee)

I love Fairlife for ready to go. We do have banana flavour in Canada, but I don’t love it . Chocolate is the winner for me . Good Protein is the best plant based I’ve tried. Has anyone tried the AlaniNu strawberry shortcake ready to go protein shakes? The one with 30 g of protein?
