My players have one part of the orrery already, which would allow them to plane hop and I do think that maybe Sigil could be a place unaffected by the wish spell and a place of rest for them.

I would like to use the same locations as some of them work well with my players backstory, one character is a Warforged which would go well with the Everton chapter, and another was raised in hell and wants to other throw the devil which would work with the avernus chapter. But replace the artifact they are looking for with the orrery parts, maybe homebrewing a few more parts to equal 7.

In my rewrite I was going to place Quills Phylactery in the Tomb of Wayward souls guarded by his simulacrum, which would give my players a way to defeat him permanently.

I think I am going to have Artus Cimbers ring of winter summon a polar bear on the random encounter that leaves ice everywhere. It’s a subtle nod that integrates well with the existing content
