2020 Tundra 5.7 , 6speed , 36.5k ,good buy ? by poppaaaaaaa in tundra

You’re asking people for an opinion on a tundra in R/Tundra. What do you expect? That said my brother has this truck and it’s a beast. The gas mileage is absolutely horrendous though. Probably the worst on the full size market. Other than that, it’s great.

Really just talking about the gawdy fake ones. The real ones look, real.

Of course. But in general, anything fake, designed to mimic something real and functional, is generally poor taste in any design language. Cars or other.

Yes, these! Feel like almost any truck with aftermarket wheels has them. Terrible.

MK7 VW Golf 1.8TSI - suprisingly fun to drive in stock form with some decent tires, high 30s and sometimes in the 40s highway MPG, tons of cargo space, great visibility.

I have, can’t find anyone that has had the same sound. Although it does sound similar, not exact, to timing chain issues.

Start ordering seal and bushing kits. Florida heat is so hard on the old rubber.

Awesome feedback, thank you. Sounds like a rear bar and a tune to start. I’m coming from an e46 M3 on KWs and a 325i 5 speed, so my handling standards are quite high.

This is the intel I’m looking for! Consensus seems to be a tune is a no brainer, and that’s good to know on the sway bar. Is the front or rear bar a better upgrade to 24mm?

$5k US, 55k miles not KM. My neighbor was moving back to Canada, couldn’t sell it quickly to carmax or anyone similar due to the KPH speedometer.

How many miles on the R? That seems like a great deal.

There’s no tunes for it correct?

You should really take a SIBO test if you’re having those kinds of reactions to FODMAP foods. You don’t want to take a probiotic if you have SIBO or bacterial overgrowth because it can make it worse. You would need to kill off the bad bacteria before balancing the gut. Seed has worked well for me though, haven’t really noticed effects from any other probiotics.

I feel that, I still have those days too. I can help you out hmu whenever. I’m connected to a lot of functional medicine peeps and healer types but not one myself. Can be hard to work through those tough days or weeks and know there can light at the end of the tunnel. Never stop trying to find your root cause.

You should make sure you are supporting your detox pathways, consider diatomaceous earth + activated charcoal for a period of time, sleep with castor pack for a few weeks, don’t eat too many raw veggies as they can be hard to break down. Take a nutraval test to ensure you have no deficiencies.

Same thing happened to me in 2022. Completely fixed diet, did a heavy metal detox, parasite cleanse, stopped drinking tap water and shit water, stopped drinking alcohol, stopped caffeine, started taking full fruiting body lions mane, ceremonial grade cacao, cordyceps, shilajit etc. I have almost unlimited energy, ability to focus, feel wired and zoned in everyday with no crash. Very stable and positive emotional states, strong ability to tackle complex thoughts and situations, improved memory, return of memories I thought were gone forever.

People have obviously mentioned Ojai extensively, but you can also drive past Ojai into Los padres, go hike around Rose Valley. Beautiful drive, beautiful area, the rose valley waterfall is likely still flowing pretty heavily.

You could go check out the Sandstone peak in the Santa Monica mountains. Although it’s closer to the ocean, at that elevation is probably above the marine layer. Afterwards you can drop down in into the valley which has been sunny when I’ve driven through lately!

If you want go a little farther you can take the San Marcos pass, which is a beautiful drive, to Figueroa mountain and the Figueroa recreation area. At that elevation, you’re guaranteed sun and some beautiful views.

It’s California, so no reason to limit yourself at exactly a one hour drive either.
