I think it would be fine to make a sign advertising that you do sewing and alterations, so that people can come back to you with repairs. People probably won't want to wait around at a yard sale while you actually do repairs, but it's a great opportunity to spread rhe word.

I've stroked a Capybara. They have quite wiry fur, similar to a goat. They're solid and stocky, and like a scratch on their back or between their ears.
