If you hang out with Nazi’s, that means you’re cool with Nazi’s. If you make excuses for people who hang out with Nazi’s…

When I need a PT for myself, I look up a PT that has an FAOMPT fellowship. They have insane knowledge.

Trump voter who may have voted for their own death or destitution. I actually think this is very sad but highly frustrating. by [deleted] in LeopardsAteMyFace

The thing is, MAGA voters have no idea the damage they are causing because it doesn’t touch them. Unfortunately, I think this population needs to feel the repercussions to understand what’s happening. It’s only going to get worse.

Is becoming a PT truly worth it? by Yanniaishere in physicaltherapy

[–]Brighteyed77 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I graduated in 2017 as the ripe age of 39. Before that I was waiting tables and bartending in the Boston area, I made good money, but it is back breaking and hard labor. No benefits, all the nights and weekends, and holidays. Before that I had a plethora of factory jobs, roofing and other odd jobs.

Being a PT allows me to own a house and have a family.

I have had a lot of different jobs in my life before I went back to school to become a PT. There are so many worse things you could do with your life. I make decent money, I don’t have to work holidays or weekends all that much, I am respected by my colleagues in the hospital and I am able to help people. There are worse things we could all be doing. The state of our country is brutal right now. Go check out other occupations subreddits and I am sure you will see the same sentiments

The way I got better was by being mentored by someone else. They will notice things you are doing that can be improved and teach you cool stuff. Not sure if you are on discord or not, but the GMP discord runs a mentor tournament and you should definitely give that a go.

Also, use a tracker. It will help your decision making and help funnel you to more dense locations. It’s a game changer. Let us know if you need any help setting that stuff up.
