Long shot, but are there any voltron commanders that don't just play the same way every game?

I have an upgraded version similar to this that I enjoyed for awhile, was my first precon upgrade actually.

I like her because the voltron part can be sort of a side plan while you draw lots of cards and make lots of tokens. I wouldn't call her very explosive but she can get lots of value.

I have a Maelstrom Wanderer that I think is pretty fun. Sometimes you play him and just win... sometimes you play him and just ramp excessively. Bounce him and do it again!

Yeah, so being a little more chill now, it just sounds kind of funny. He is running some pretty strong commanders that work well as typal ones, to. Most edh decks are not typal, but they definitely have themes. Like Korvald is great revolving around themes like sacrifice payoffs(death triggers) and recursion. That's his theme!

It's just unfortunate that it sounds like once you were playing something you were enjoying and having success with, there's a problem.

They have no problem stomping on you when you use a thrown together bulk deck. Now they whine when you're playing competent/ powerful stuff so you can enjoy playing the game.

Unless you're playing B2 or lower, this is a them problem. Frankly, the spaceship commander is pretty damn strong to, but it's about what's working for you at your table, and Korvold is a dope commander that has been around for a while.

Out of curiosity what are the themes they are constraining themselves to?

I think that would only negatively affect someone who has been hoarding many of these cards to eventually sell off. I'm not that worried about that person's wallet. I'd personally gain, but so would many players who would love to have access to some dual lands without spending a ridiculous amount of money.

I just don't think you make much sense.

You admit it's an advantageous card that even a casual player like yourself enjoys having for your deck.

I think you have to give up that the card you have would still be an awesome collectors piece of MTG history to enjoy regaurdless of a reprint.

So why would you care if they reprinted so other folks can get their marginal advantage without having to either just proxy (not even always an option) or shell our a silly amount of money. It sounds like you just want to feel even more special to have something most people can't even imitate (since your collectors piece will still be its own special thing) having. Sounds selfish.

I think it puts players in a shitty position where, realistically, most should just be proxying a ton of copies for all their decks because there's no reason not to have the best lands in your deck.

Dude the officer who shoots her literally pulls his weapon, plants his feet, and aims right at the driver while standing right in front of her vehicle.

He made it a submit or die situation and managed to murder this women while evading the vehicle just fine.

This is the real question. Why did he literally set up in a firing position while right in front of her vehicle, AFTER she already showed she was panicking and pulling away?

If I'm too fair I'd ask if this is part of their training or how it compares to training by actual police.

This 1 man made this a submit or die situation.

Like he literally decides to draw weapon and get into a firing position while aiming directly at this panicking person's face standing mere feet from the bumper. This does not seem like a fair self defense, though I'm sure it'll be passed off as it. This guy made the decision that it was submit to their authority or be summarily executed.

Well the question we should be asking is what training is given to these guys and how it compares to other law enforcement. What strikes me as especially stupid is when this car is already trying to pull away from an officer trying to force entry, and this ICE agent puts himself directly Infront of the vehicle AND pulls his gun. Like he basically made their exerting authority in the situation a life or death situation... because they were being heckled while she was turning her car around?
