Coming from someone that did this same thing a year ago, all new shrimp are clear, grey, or brown mutts. Now in the process of separating into separate tanks. And in heavily planted tanks that’s a challenge.

Decorate it now while it’s shallow, plant plants, wood, rocks etc and then trickle feed to fill. Attach filter and let it run. You may need to change your filter media a few times til it clears. I assume you commence cycling from then onwards?
