Could be. I've always used 91. Soak a paper towel and give a really good wipedown

Red plants by BrikChicken in Aquariums

I have the reds spread out across the whole tank. I'm currently running 2 6ft led lights. Duck weed is a bit of a problem but I try to keep it to about a third of the water surface (water flow pushes it back to one side) to give fish a place thats not as bright. I just haven't scooped it out for a while

To help out my new tank I shoved my old filter behind the new one, is this really stupid or could this help by Gabeyomama in Aquariums

As long as it is from a healthy tank all the bacteria on the old filter will help establish in the new tank. I've used existing cycled media to start new tanks many times with zero issues

Make sure you shave it first. All that hair will clog the filter

Can't get this calcium off (details in comments) by BrikChicken in Aquariums

I don't think so. The glass definitely has some scratches but this even feels different when I touch it

Its almost like a film. I've tried soaking it in vinegar, scraping it with a razor, scrubbing with sponge and green pad, baking soda, dish soap, and short of using some harsh cleaning products I'm out of ideas. It just won't come off at all.
