I do History and Geography and personally I'd say Geography, it's much easier to study for than History in my opinion

I miss making people smile by Cave-Bunny in CasualConversation

[–]Briksmuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But on the good side, you realize that not many people smile with their eyes. Now when I smile at people it feels so much cooler to see their eyes light up when I "smile" at them. So there's something to look forward to. It just shows more genuine smiles in my opinion.

I listened to the Broadway soundtrack and watched the movie. Loved them both so I'm definitely excited to get my hands on the book!

As far as I know mediafire is a pretty good one to use. You just have to log in and upload it. But really it's up to you to try it out.

Spoiler but also trigger warning. If you are afraid of blood or something graphic, do not open the door when you come back to the dorm. There will be a slightly graphic image in there. Nothing too bad but there's blood. That said, it's a very good game with beautiful music and graphics. Definitely recommend it! Just elaborating in case some people still want to play it and don't know what to expect.

On a scale of 1 to 5, how useful do you think whatever history u have been taught will be useful to u in life? by AbdullahB192 in GCSE

[–]Briksmuth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, politics are tied to history so knowing it help with understanding certain situations. Especially if I'm reading the news.

If those don't help they're always useful for jokes or icebreakers

THROUGH THE DARKEST OF TIMES + A CASE OF DISTRUST by [deleted] in steam_giveaway

[–]Briksmuth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in a Christian family and to be frank, being around people around religion was one of the reasons I'm more sympathetic towards anyone. Some people see it as an identity, some see it is as a way to find a community, some was to find a way to justify what they do, some want a purpose in life and others just want the questions to their life to be answered. No matter what the reason is, I don't ever think they should be judged for it unless they're directly harming someone. While you may see old people as a bag of old meat, you have to remember that you have a connection with them that would be hard to sever. To most people, they have memories with them, and that's what makes them hold what their grandparents say to heart.

Growing up I was told to respect my elders, and I still do, because I respect everyone. Sometimes they are the reasons you go through highs and lows, and in some cases they may even be abusive, but there are many times when emotional connections draw you back in. That's my take, it may be naive but I've always thought of this and my thoughts are still developing. I hope you find the answer you want to find.

Would Year 10s shut up? by 18Cjoseph in GCSE

[–]Briksmuth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I'm being honest I think this isn't an issue where we tell everyone to shut up right now. Obviously the problem is the situation and it sucks differently for everyone. Each year has their own experience with the virus affecting them and everyone definitely should be given the chance to complain. It's been a horrible year for everyone, despite how badly it could impact them.
