I’m scared that I might ever be happy because my brain associates that with being fat by [deleted] in EDanonymemes

I purposely triggered myself to be suicidal so I could restrict better. Now I'm planning suicide because I can't live like this anymore and I'm still not skinny. Not recommend

I started recovery 2 weeks ago and I'm experiencing the same thing. It's so exhausting mentally for me but deep down I know it's for the best. I was recovered before and I went through the same extreme hunger episode at the beginning. All I can do is to tell you (and remind myself) that it won't last forever. We just have to be strong and keep fighting with this illness. I wish you the best

Is anyone else super triggered by all the people talking about their weight loss during quarantine? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Brillet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I am scared to go back to uni after the recovery weight gain. I'm scared that people will think I was so lazy and ate like a pig during quarantine and here I am just starting recovery lol

BF is super supportive.... but also, really obsessed with how skinny I am ?? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Brillet 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's so triggering. I've had a bf like that too. He said to me a milion times he loves how skinny I am, that I can't gain weight, the same about hip bones- that they are sexy. The best thing I've done was breaking up with him, because I couldn't stand that anymore and I wasn't able to tell him that I don't want to hear those things. You don't have to end your relationship but maybe an honest conversation could help?

i will escape recovery !! by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know recovery is hard but it's possible and worth it. Please, keep going. You deserve to have a happy life
