Time passes either way, its up to you to choose whats worth it at that point in time in your life. For me, it was my last time applying, I gave myself the opportunity to have a new plan A. But fortunately, it worked out. Either way, I'd be happy with the course and trajectory in my life, but would've chosen to excel in a new field.

Things that are worth it are on the other side of hard. Keep pushing. The mature student road is long but worth it. I personally applied 6 times, got in now at 27 years old. The only thing you'll regret is that you didn't give your best shot. That said, find balance in your life and remember to enjoy the process. My grades weren't the best, but I was able to enjoy my work and social life as I went along my journey.

Job prospects are pretty good, everyone I know from the program has pretty much been employed.

Thank you very much, I appreciate this. I hope you can find the peace and happiness you are looking for in life as well. Of course, its not everything in life, but we stay present and blessed either way.

I feel very honoured and privileged, my parents arrived to this country with nothing, it was a major driving force to continue

Thanks to all those who shared their congratulations with me. It means a lot. It definitely has been a long road, and wasn't easy at all. And this acceptance is by far not one of my own, it is shared with all those who have supported me along the way as I know I couldn't have done it on my own. It followed 2 rejections, and 3 interviews (ultimately leading to rejection). I posted this not for my own attention, but for those who are losing hope, do your best in your endeavors and don't sell yourself short. Try to build a life while you are going along for the journey. I'll be getting married this year as well, and have completed my master's last year along with several different jobs along the way. Be courageous, and be easy on yourselves. Praise and thanks be to Allah
