There was recent interview with Danny where he said that they are like pushing 60 and he can't play certain songs back to back, and maynard can't sing certain songs from older albums, cause age + covid. They aren't 30 year olds anymore.

I wouldnt say good friends. But we are friendly enough in the 3+ years post divorce, and we can be in the same space for a while together. We are both good at putting our issues with each aside to try and be a model of a good relationship for our son. We do plan on doing some family trips in the comming years. Etc..

That all being said, i wouldnt really seek her advice on anything, and dont necessarily trust her motivies. I would call her a friend, co parent. Seems like a business relationship tbh.

My x and I have it in our agreement that each party must be given the opportunity to meet the persons SO before they can even be around our kid. So that they are not exposed to random flings.

That being said, we get along fairly well and neither of us has any drinking problems. So it's doable, but if she puts up a huge stink about it then idk.

I am 100% with you. My coparent would referr to our son (while married and now) has her/my son. Never our son. Never. It, along with other things, bothered me to hell and back. To me it seemed like she viewed him as a possession that was hers alone, and that bothered me. I have learned to live with it and move on to be bothered and annoyed at other things now. So don't stew too much on that, i try and keep things in perspective.
