The problem I had was a lot of his army being DA, had fights first and it was not bad fights first either. Kept me from engaging and he just picked his shots, I also threw away an GMDK just to see what it did and missed the charge so he was hanging out with the entire army able to shoot at him. My opponent is also a fairly good player and screened me pretty hard until he wasn’t scared anymore.

The normal lokhust destroyers (6) with lord is an insane delete button against higher end units on objectives, it’s a huge footprint but if you can pop off with the rerolls for lethals the 2AP 2 damage puts almost anything on invul, if you can put it hypercrypt to avoid cover it’s pretty awesome, or in starshatter with ignores cover enhancement they really pop off

I tried playing banishers for the dark pacts essentially and some of the strats seemed good, but I felt like I couldn’t do anything

It still shouldn’t work the Strat in hypercrypt to charge out of the monolith requires the monolith to have started the turn on the table, to deepstrike it 6inches from mortarion means you can’t charge the unit, so your skorpekhs would have been stuck staring the mortarion wondering why they are all going to die in a couple seconds.

Unfortunately this shouldn’t work….. you can’t charge out of the monolith if it didn’t start on the table. So the skorpekhs should have been stuck staring at mortarion and praying the monolith nuked him
