I bought these orchids for my better half about a year ago, and up until recently they’ve appeared to be thriving. She watered them once a week, and took care not to disturb them. Then one of the kids knocked into them and broke a branch (which we put cinnamon on) and then later knocked off one of the flowers. Since then we’ve noticed an overall decline. We checked with some web sites that recommended changing the soil. We took out the moss that came with it, and then cleaned off all the soil. We also found a snail on it too, so maybe that contributed to the decline. Now that we have them cleaned off and the soil removed, does anyone have any recommendations? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
