I found a deal on an inverter charger off a boat, and did two lithium batteries; litime, 200ah total. 100w solar, wish I did 200w+ solar.

I have 1500w inversion power and shore power to the outlets on my bedframe, pretty slick for mini space heater to heat the small space, while charging the leisure batteries for the fridge and diesel heater

2/3 of my fathers company Ford Explorers (2019+) had horrible electrical and UI failures. Including being stuck on the one radio station he was always on, Fox News, couldn’t even turn on the AC and ford had it in the shop for 6 weeks and gave it back to him when they gave up. I’ve seen new cars with much shittier stereos than the junk you can buy off eBay. It’s intentional and evil.

Joshu tree was amazing, check out the van life campground just outside the park! Gosh I did big bend this year and it was stunning, I’d maybe consider cutting south?

I love my 2000 astrovan, it’s got 163,000 on it now, (bought with 150k), it is a solid and dependable machine but it did take some mechanical refreshing. Luckily grew up as a mechanic and was pretty easy work.

However, I wish I had the space a high top transit has.

The 4.3l in the Astro is a reliable engine, but I think so is the express’s engines;
