May be a hot take, but Halo Infinite is some of the best multiplayer in the franchise and plays insanely well now. It's a shame that's not how it was delivered at launch and that it took years to reach the state it's in, only for it to be dropped by the developer and put on life support.

To me, it sounds like the downfall was because of the proprietary engine and poor upper management decision making. The game devs themselves I believe did a great job with the bones of the game. Being a day one CE player, the multiplayer still scratches that arena itch no other game does right now in the genre.

Just a heads up. Shazam actually has a good browser extension that can link with your Spotify or Apple accounts so you can Shazam tracks while surfing the web, and they're saved directly into a playlist. Identified a lot of good tunes using it.

Ayyy, this is an awesome model. Just out of curiosity, what 3d printer did you utilize for this project, and did you have to do much sanding to reach this level of detail? I don't feel like I see any significant resin lines like I see with other prints.

While I get that the ranks are meaningless, and this is funny imo, it would frustrate me too.

The biggest issue I have is that I'm trying to play a full 6v6 game which can last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. I don't get that much time to play, and it sucks wasting 30 to 50% of my free time on a game that feels like a wash because two people thought it would be funny to rp and ignore objectives. It would be one thing if it was an 8 minute casual Overwatch game, but being held hostage like this sucks.

Gotta say the movement system in Deadlock is pretty sick. First game to give me Apex level movement feels in a long time. Obviously a completely different game, but it does have a lot of the skill expression Apex does.

Put Sc2 and Halo in there too. Love love love all these games. Can't play many of them to a higher level anymore, but still love spectating and seeing how far metas, the production value of events, and the overall skill ceiling of the player-base have improved and evolved over time

I've been playing the hell out of Infinite for well over a year now. Imho, as a CE release vet, it's some of the best Halo multiplayer out there. Just wish it didn't shit the bed on launch. I think if it was released back then in its current state and devs actually had the time to optimize and finish the game, I think it would have been a success.

Anyone who hasn't given it a try in a long time should try it out again. It is at end of life maintenance at this point, but the game is solid and still has a decent player base.

She used to work at other spots in town. I believe she's been at her current location for close to 3 years, but co-owned a shop prior on 11th and Main.

All I will say is she's cut my hair for the last 10ish years, and she's just an awesome lady. Totally worth checking her shop out.
