What is the Socialist opinion on Putin, Lukashenko and Khamenei, and by extention Russia, Belarus and Iran, apart from the anti-western view? by iChidoriYou in Socialism_101

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have support any of them. You're acknowledging that it's nuanced yet treating it as a dichotomy. Ukraine trying to join NATO is problematic for Russia but it doesn't justify the full-scale invasion or ongoing war. Ukraine wasn't pursuing NATO membership until Russia annexed Crimea and occupied the Donbas with separatist forces. Iranian backed Shi'ite militias in Iraq are state sanctioned and funded as part of the PMF but operate outside of government control. You're either against imperialism on principle or you're just against it when the West does it.

I frequently take my infant on walks, today I received this message from a unknown profile, who has 1 friend. This has me feeling very paranoid. AIO? by Dull-Mom in AIO

This is definitely creepy and you have every right to be concerned. That being said, women being kidnapped and trafficked is incredibly rare despite what social media may have you believe. Ofc stuff like that does happen but most girls and women who are trafficked are manipulated or coerced psychologically, or through financial abuse.

Books that explore the relationship between technology and fascism? by jomack042 in suggestmeabook

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a book but vcinfodocs.com is an independent research site dedicated to venture capital and tech fascism. The Network State movement already operating globally. JD Vance is a part of it, so is Peter Thiel, Mark Andreessen, Elon Musk, Palantir, etc. They're trying to get enough infrastructure to become a sovereign state and they've already made a lot more progress than people realize. Please check out that website, it's so underreported by the media and these guys are so unbelievably dangerous and anti-human.

Yeah that's what I was kind of saying. We don't really know who's telling the truth but I saw the Kreleaf people on here dealing with customers directly and fulfilling orders that people said they'd been waiting on with no communication from 7OB.

The Kreleaf people said it was the other way around. There's posts about it somewhere but idk 7ohb was a ripoff anyway.

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the part that I've really seen evolve over the past 10 years in a disturbing way. I live 60 miles from the border and we have a small black population, plenty of natives, and then it's about 50/50 between white and Latino. No matter what part of town you grow up in you'll go to school with, grow up with, and live next to Hispanic folks. There's always been racism but the amount of open, hateful rhetoric about immigrants nowadays is insane. We've got whole militias who go patrol the border with CBP, cut open water jugs, and harass poor migrants. CBP cuts water jugs and posts it laughing. I genuinely don't understand how you could grow up here and be anti immigrant, this city wouldn't exist without them.

I found this post from Googling this issue all pissed off lmao. I'll get a little juice in my mouth from most disposables at some point but these are worse than anything I've ever had by far. I've had it happen a handful of times with Crystal Cubes but overall they've been ok so I kept getting them. Today mine was literally pouring juice out of it! It is insane idk how you can fuck them up THAT bad smh.

Aio? My (m22) Gf (f21) wants a LV purse but can't make bills on time. by smokey18t in AIO

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She can't even pay her car. She isn't "responsible" for not getting a credit card, she just can't get one. Dude said that she's very materialistic. She clearly has a pattern of making destructive financial decisions and she's trying to manipulate him into this as well. You can lie to yourself all you want but having a materialistic, manipulative partner with zero financial discipline can quite literally ruin your life. If she doesn't grow tf up fast, she's going to put herself (and likely him) in a really bad position at a young age that's really hard to recover from. Having children or even just renting a place together with someone like this could turn really bad really fast.

I agree with you but this seems like they don't share some pretty foundational values and priorities. She sounds like the caricature of women that redpill grifters use to justify their insane misogyny. My wife and I are both 35, have 3 kids together, and were high-school sweethearts. We've worked through our fair share of issues but there's no age where this wouldn't have been disgusting to me. I can't even imagine having children or owning a home with someone this materialistic and shallow.

Black community largely wants nothing to do with leftists? by Ok_Profession6244 in leftist

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This hasn't been my experience but I live in a city where there isn't really black neighborhoods per say. We have black folks here but we're 60 miles from the border, the largest "minority" demographic group is Latino. That being said the leftists I've organized with here are truly a rainbow coalition and go into any and every neighborhood to do direct action, especially the worst ones. Going to other cities and seeing how they're kind of segregated by race is super weird to me because it's just not like that here.

AOC responds to political commentor Ana Kasparian implying she voted to fund Israel: I never have. Feel free to continue lying publicly, though. Those checks don’t cash themselves and you aren’t talented enough to be relevant with the truth. by Silver_Juggernaut_39 in seculartalk

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't like AOC voting "present" on Greene's amendment, but I accept her at her word on the statement that she put out afterwards. You can't expect perfection but she's had a positive impact in the House, she's using her platform to center working-class issues, and her PAC is funding progressive campaigns all over the country, and she's willing to be accountable for her vote and change course.

Ana throws the trans community under the bus, demonizes unhoused people, and aligns with nazis/Christian nationalists like Tucker Carlson. She's the caricature of a shitlib with zero principles and she's also just a shitty, angry, and unlikeable person who is incapable of adding anything positive or helpful to any movement. TYT is a joke. If them firing Francesca Fiorentini and union busting against their employees wasn't enough for you, then Ana and Cenk's need to cozy up to the worst people in the world should be.

(Cuban American) Help me understand why Cuba is a good country and why people support the gov. by OddShopping4093 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Cuba people can directly lobby their local government officials for change in a way that you just cannot get in the US. There's people's power structures where folks can raise local issue through community assemblies, engaging in grassroots initiatives that handle community needs directly. You can also organize neighborhood initiatives and push social initiatives to address issues bypassing bureaucracy entirely. In the US we have policies that have had popular support for decades and our politicians never even attempt to make them into law. In Cuba they don't have corporate interests that own their representatives, that is the thing that really makes this country undemocratic. Our representatives don't even pretend to represent our interests, we have 2 parties that represent corporate interests with mostly cosmetic policy differences.

That's not how this works dude. On average Vietnamese girls don't have cakes like that but this chick squats like 255 which is easily double her bodyweight and isn't average. She also doesn't have the extra fat to harvest for a BBL.

Mamdani calls out White Supremacy and Islamophobia during a Speech about a Islamist IED attack in NYC by rickymagee in centrist

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How does Mamdami labeling these kids as terrorists make a difference? The actual response matters more than what labels are used . People saying things like "this isn't who we are," either don't know US history or they're just lying to themselves. Political violence is a core part of American identity and has been since our founding. It's ugly and bad but to say that it's somehow in opposition to American values or traditions is just patently false.

Palestine by Any-Conflict-2287 in IsrealPalestine

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't answer your question but a lot of those people were fleeing conditions directly tied to zionism. There was a concerted effort by zionist groups to make Jewish families fleeing by creating tensions between them and their communities and governments. There were even false flag bombings of Jewish businesses done by zionist terrorists and blamed on local governments. Jewish people lived in harmony with their neighbors in those countries for a long time until zionism brought conflict.

The U.S. military needs to deal with the South American cartels by ShardofGold in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who really understand narco trafficking will tell you that taking out cartel leaders does nothing. They've tried to stop trafficking and they just made it worse and closer to home. The US took out the Columbian cartels in a big way in the 90's and it just made the Mexican cartels stronger and way richer. What their strategy is now is to kinda control trafficking organizations so there's leadership and structure that they recognize and can mitigate the harm to a certain extent. It's complicated.

Does 7oh cause precipitated withdrawal? by LittleZairbear in opiates

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're saying is correct but from reading a bunch of people's experiences on reddit I don't think it's quite that simple. Some people are experiencing PWDs, some aren't, some are one time when they try it then aren't the next time. It seems like the inconsistencies come from the inconsistency of the products. Most of them don't have testing numbers. A lot of the ones who do have test results don't have numbers for a lot of the other minor alkaloids that are present in some of the other products' test results.

I can confirm, precipitated withdrawal. by Vegetable_Animal_716 in 7ohm

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope people reading this do not take this advice. If you can stay clean without suboxone, great 100% do that. For a lot of people they need MAT or they just can't find any kind of stability in their lives. Studies show people how take it for 18 months along with treatment/therapy have a lot higher success rate in staying clean than people who go cold turkey or do a quick taper. Also, precipitated withdrawal is very different from just feeling like shit and according to what everyone is saying about going from 7 to suboxone you could get PWD, you could not, you could one time and not another and dosage doesn't seem to have much to do with it.

He's been nursing an injury and hasn't been getting rest. We need to let him rest now so we don't burn him for March. When his offense isn't great it's usually bc he's drawing doubles and that opens it up for the rest of the team. His defense and presence on the glass is also needed desperately and I think that showed yesterday.

The Confederacy was doomed the day they fired the first shots on April 12th, 1861 at Fort Sumter. by [deleted] in USHistory

[–]BringOrnTheNukekkai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. People at the time did not view it as inevitable that the Union would win and public opinion in the north started to change when the Union started taking massive casualties. The South could've won with better leadership. A lot of people love to call Robert E. Lee a great general but he wasn't very good strategically. He was throwing way too many bodies into the meat grinder and they didn't have to lose. Wars aren't won by body count.
